HOW TO BUY A CAR HERE: This dealership, unexpectedly and unwillingly, charges customer for extras they don't necessarily want nor ask for when you purchase a new vehicle. Window tint is one of them. Now, this window tint has a "lifetime guarantee" and sounds good, right? WRONG! We have a Ford that was purchased new here, but because "their records only go back seven years", their "lifetime guarantee" is no longer honored. I advise everyone purchasing a vehicle here to not pay their silly add-on's. Further more, www.kelleybluebook.com allows you to get a general invoice costs to their vehicles. Last few vehicle purchased, I was able to negotiate $1,500-$2,000 under factory invoice, plus all rebates. Food for thought people... The gentleman, Mel, in the accessory department genuinely was trying to help. But I understand the GM is choosing not to honor their guarantees because "we don't use that window tint company anymore". Which is a likely story. Sure, Berge Ford, you're still around but the tint company "went out of business." Sure. More

My salesman Tim S. was very helpful, knowledgeable and straight forward. The truck itself was an off brand (Mitsubishi) but he and the staff there did their best to accommodate all of my questions. Being a used truck, it's not a complete surprise that there may be a few items that need to be fixed up on it and this was the case. The managers never nickled and dimed me about the repairs. Tim expedited the repairs and drove the truck to the repair shop for me. A good group of people from finance to sales to managers. Tim in the fleet department was the guy who made the deal and followed up after the sale like a boss. Thanks guys. More

No followup on #'s finance options or inquiries in general, not sure why as I was ready to buy with or without trade or anything else but it seems they were looking at me as an inconvience. More

This Dealership is the epitome of why people don't trust dealers, finance managers and used car salesman. live 5 hours from this dealership and first talked with Tom. I took notes on every phone conversation and yes you guessed in the numbers changed every time I talked with him. I then get turned over to the finance manager MJ. It all seemed to be working out better. My wife and I drive the 5 hours, of course bringing the detailed list of docs they were requesting for the loan. We filled out ALL the paperwork, got the insurance changed over, car was detailed and ready to go, drive out tag printed and THEN.............we don't have the right document for them. Of course remembering they gave us a detailed list prior to us making the drive. Needless to say we left and made the 5 hour drive back home. I would NOT recommend this dealer. If you enjoy getting jerked around Berge Ford is the place. Just a few more details, the salesperson stated one of the vehicles that we were interested got sold the night prior. Gave me details like his GM was driving it, WOW it was really nice BUT it got sold, he even told me the name of the other sales person, pointed him out. Yes you guessed............the car magically appears as were are about to leave. More
I dropped my truck off at 7am this morning to check and adjust my front end alignment. The passenger tire is feathering again. This is the same problem that I was having earlier with approximately 4,000 m adjust my front end alignment. The passenger tire is feathering again. This is the same problem that I was having earlier with approximately 4,000 miles on the tire. The adviser tells me it is "normal wear". The other front tire is fine. I have taken my truck in now 4 times trying to get the problem fixed. It was quiescence, when I turned into Ford Motor’s driveway this morning, my engine died. This was the 1st time it ever happened. I was not sure what caused it. I mentioned this to David and he was going to have the mechanics check it out. Initially, I went to your service department for two things: 1). Check and adjust the front end alignment. 2). Update the SYSC System software because it gave me a message telling me that the software was out of date for my new phone and it would not recognize the phone application – “Pandora”. David said that there were no newer updates out there but later said after checking himself; it looked like there may be an update. This was at 5pm. "Basically, none of your maintenance personnel really checked the software". David wanted me to leave it again overnight so they could work on it again the next day. All that I have experienced from Berger’s maintenance group is passive service. How can it take all day to trouble shoot these few items and then end up at the end of the day saying everything was OK and still find out there may be a software update that needs to be uploaded and ask to leave it again another day. This is ridiculous. I had a poor experience earlier when the tire exchange took a complaint to the BBB and now we are heading in to another bad experience. It is all a repeat of being told it OK when it is not and it is at the customer’s expense of time and effort to get things fixed the right way. I love my truck but your service department needs improvement. More
This dealership not only provided my wife top notch,hassle free warranty service even though the car wasn't purchased from them, when I decided to buy a new car and trade in hers they went above notch,hassle free warranty service even though the car wasn't purchased from them, when I decided to buy a new car and trade in hers they went above and beyond what I experienced at any other car dealership in my 58 years of buying cars. Everytime we encountered a hurdle they made sure that we cleared it to my utmost satisfaction. Car we were interested in sold, no problem,they ordered me another and the only one they could order had more equipment that the original. Not a problem- they matched the lessor price to the better equipped car and upped my trade-in as the amount changed during the process through K.B.B. They threw out destination fees,added tinting and met my financial interest rate from an outside source. Way to go guys, will now shop at Berge Ford when in need of a new car. We also leased from Berge Toyota/Scion Riverview in Tempe. Very satisfied customer, Larry Moriello More
