I have bought three cars for myself. My first (Saab) was after I graduated from college and started working. My second(Volvo) was after we had our third child...a station wagon. I hadn't been in the market for over 10 years. I had some vague parameters that my husband and I agreed on but otherwise I was free to shop on my own. At the Audi dealership I was introduced to Mitch the "specialist". He was patient in answering all my questions...and I had a lot of questions. It's my car and I wanted to understand all about it. Mitch educated me on the "Audi" product in the macro all the way to the differences between the micro products that I was interested in. I had test driven several cars before I got to Audi but Mitch was the first specialist that actually gave me a "test ride" before I actually did my own "test drive". That was very smart. He was more confident to show me how the car could be driven. When I had narrowed my choices down to two cars I allowed my husband to take part in the process. We went to the first dealership and went through the paces in understanding choice one. Then I took him to meet Mitch at the Audi dealership. My husband enjoyed the education and experience Mitch gave us. Now it was time to sit down and deal... I failed to tell you that we had always planned on buying a "previously owned" (used) car! Once we sat down and began crunching the numbers with Mitch we all agreed that if I was willing to be patient then Mitch could help us purchase exactly the car we desired NEW vs. used, for an incredible price. I was willing to wait! I was able to pick and choose exactly what I NEEDED my car to have vs. buying a lot of unnecessary features in a used car. I believe my NEW car ended up being cheaper than the used cars they had available. But, best of all it has the interior and exterior colors that I love with all the features I wanted. Upon completion of the deal Mitch informed me that it would take about two months to build and ship from germany. Anticipation is exciting too! But wait! Mitch was updating me regularly! And now ONE month early I have picked up my beautiful made to order car!! I love it! Thanks Mitch More
