Quick Fix Fail Bought a used Avalanche. 3 days after purchase, I got a stop engine light. I felt that this was ridiculous since I had just purchased it, so I called Bought a used Avalanche. 3 days after purchase, I got a stop engine light. I felt that this was ridiculous since I had just purchased it, so I called them. They said they weren't responsible for after purchase problems but they would look at it. Dealer told me it was an emissions problem and it was taken care of. Right after that, we drove the vehicle to Pennsylvania, and on the way home, got another stop engine light, followed by an oil light, and the oil pressure indicator dropped to zero. Since it was late in the evening, we had no choice but to stay the night in a tiny town off I-80 and deal with it in the morning. Next morning, started it and pressure was back to normal, but, dropped to zero again after about 10 miles. Located a Chevy dealership and took it to their service shop. They said it was again an emissions problem. They replaced a sensor and purge valve. We explained what had happened at Delehanty. They said that most likely, they had just re-set the engine light and had not fixed the problem. I don't doubt for a second that, that's what they did, to get me out of their hair! More

I brought my car in for service based on a letter I received from Ford regarding a recall notice for the throttle body. They refused to look into it stating that they will only if the light is on my display. It wasn't, so they dismissed me and the letter. I asked them to look In their computer to see if I had previously brought my car in for the throttle issue and they would not. I went to Lasco ford in Fenton and they took immediate care of the issue and said I will be getting a $100.00 refund because I had previously paid to have this issue serviced in the past. Thank you Lasco Ford! More
Brought my SUV in for an engine service, came out with a NEW engine (supposedly). Came out with more problems than it had before the service. I went into the dealership to order a 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Gary suggested I wait and see if he could find one from another deal first. Two days later I was driving my Ford!!! Gary was very nice and accommodating if I said no to something that was it he never tried to push anything on me that I did not want. He knew I was taking the morning off from work to pick up my new car and as promised all the paper work was done all I had to do was sign my name a couple of times and I was good to go. Then unexpected happened Gary spent a good 45 minutes with me explaining all the features of my new car to me and made sure I understood them and was comfortable using them. I have never had a dealer to that for me and I have purchased many a new cars. It is the simple things like that will keep my coming back. More
