I guess the following is my fault for going back to La Mesa Tucson service after the issues I had last time but they called about a seat belt recall and I also had a Hydraulic leak in the leveling jack Mesa Tucson service after the issues I had last time but they called about a seat belt recall and I also had a Hydraulic leak in the leveling jack system. I arrived at my appointment on Nov. 30th at 8:00 where I met with my service advisor Julio. We went over my seat belt recall and jack issue and I asked how much it would be to do an oil change, fuel filter, and generator service, he looked at a list and said $1100 + parts and in his word he said parts aren’t that much and it included checking all fluids and adjusting and lubing the slide outs. I agreed to that work and amount. He called me a couple hours later and said the rear differential fluid was dirty and the radiator fans were clogged at the price of $290 for the differential and 1 hour labor for the radiator, I refused those services. I didn’t hear anything back on Thursday or Friday so I called Friday afternoon to get a status, Julio said they had to order some “bolts” for the jack system but everything else was done and would be ready Monday. Monday passed and no communication, I called Tuesday morning and was told the motorhome was ready and I could pick it up after 1:00. I arrived shortly after 1:00 and was presented with an invoice of over $2800, mind you the recall was free and the hydraulic system charge was about $99 for half an hour labor to tighten some bolts. It was extremely hard to tell where I was being overcharged because the invoice was broken up in sections, it didn’t just list $1100 and what was done, it had air conditioner service that I had never requested but assume it was part of the $1100 package deal. I asked Julio how it got from $1100 + parts to $2800, he looked at the invoice and said the discounts weren’t applied, even though I think he was the one that filled out the invoice. He came back with a cost of over $2300 and I just paid it and left vowing to never set foot in La Mesa again and warn others of the deceptive practices through social media, online reviews, and the Better Business Bureau. It’s hard to tell how much I was overcharged since I didn’t notice until I got home that I only received a copy of a small portion of the invoice. The invoice also stated that I had agreed to an estimate of $3000 which I never agreed to. More
Bought a $200,000 Sprinter and the dealer will not do warrenty work until January 2024. Call Canada where buildout was done and they said take it to a better dealer. This dealership and management will outright lie to you. Went to pick up our rv and it wasn’t ready and it had a lot of issues that weren’t resolved. Waited until the following day to pick up and the issues were still not resolved. Took it anyways with a promise from a manager that when I brought it back everything would be taken care of. I called back that same day when I got home and talked to that same manager and he said he had told me no such thing. I had to fight to get my 1 day old rv fixed without having to pay for it. Took it to Tucson la mesa the next week and had to explain everything all over again except now there was a huge leak that had presented itself because it had rained. Nothing was ever fixed and the manager from the mesa la mesa was just simply a liar and I will never even look at anything from this company. More

After nearly a year owning my Tiffin Cahaba that I bought brand-new from La Mesa RV in Tucson, I can assure you that they have absolutely no intention of honoring the warranty they provide when they sell you brand-new from La Mesa RV in Tucson, I can assure you that they have absolutely no intention of honoring the warranty they provide when they sell you an RV. My Cahaba has had numerous issues that are supposedly covered under warranty but which La Mesa refuses to service. I have contacted Tiffin directly and they confirmed they approve of the warranty repairs but La Mesa repeatedly goes weeks without returning my calls with service requests. And then when I finally do get my Cahaba in for service, they keep it for months then return it in the same condition saying that Tiffin does not approve of the repairs (not true, see above). Examples of the issues I've had that La Mesa has refused to repair: furnace doesn't work, major leak in rear door, Volta system alternator doesn't work, solar panels don't work, lighting control panel doesn't work, Volta control panel doesn't work. These are not minor annoyances; they are major system problems that are clearly covered under the warranty. Tiffin agrees they are backed by the warranty. I suspect what is going on is they make vastly more money on non-warranty repairs than on what they are reimbursed from Tiffin for warranty repairs. So they have every incentive to ignore warranty repairs. They'll glad-hand you with a nice warranty when they sell you an RV but they appear to have no intention of honoring it. More
Terrible Customer Service experience for my brand new Tiffen Wayfarer. You cannot get their service department to answer their phones. You will get put on hold and eventually be routed to Phoenix or Cali Tiffen Wayfarer. You cannot get their service department to answer their phones. You will get put on hold and eventually be routed to Phoenix or California where the operator will route you back to Tucson. Follow-up on pending work is non-existent. From the other dissatisfied reviewers experiences, I see I'm not alone. Steer clear of La Mesa RV if you have alternatives. More
