Poor diagnostic/wrong diagnosis 2007 F-150 with shuddering between 40 and 50 mph. Had truck for two days and concluded bad transmission. Could be torque converter or may need entire 2007 F-150 with shuddering between 40 and 50 mph. Had truck for two days and concluded bad transmission. Could be torque converter or may need entire transmission replaced ($1,800-$5,000). I took it to another mechanic who diagnosed it as misfires. We paid this guy $700 to replace all coils, springs, and boots. Problem solved. I will not return to this dealership. More
