Typical Dealership Trickery The only reason I gave 5 stars is because the salesman that sold me my car, Ray, was awesome. He was nice and was able to get me a good deal on the ne The only reason I gave 5 stars is because the salesman that sold me my car, Ray, was awesome. He was nice and was able to get me a good deal on the new car and my trade in. When we passed off to the finance department, they added in a fee for "vehicle theft registration". Making it sound mandatory. It was $399. After buying the car I researched this and it's a total scam dealers add into these contracts without your knowledge. A couple signatures were done on a digital surface. Not being able to see what I was signing for. I had to trust the finance guy. They also misread the purchase agreement and quoted me an out the door price not including the difference owed on my trade in and then called me later saying I owed an additional $600 to payoff the trade in! You would think it would be easy to notice something like that. After that frustration, I spoke with the general manager and he was more than happy to refund that $399. I was happy with that, but it's shady that they sneak that in. I'm sure most people don't think much of it and are just throwing their money away. Ken Garff had the car I wanted, but I would not recommend this dealership. Look elsewhere for the car you want and drive up to another Honda dealership if you have to. But, in the end these guys helped me out; so, if you must buy a car here but from Ray and pay close attention to exactly what you are being charged for. More

After I purchased my car, the check engine light immediately came on. And the stereo stopped working after a week. When I took it back, they replaced the stereo with the cheapest one they could find that didn't have a navigation system like the car originally had. When I asked 'why', they claimed the car didn't have a navigation system in it originally. As if I was lying or something. They have now had my car in for repairs for over 3 weeks now. I would not recommend this business to anyone. The 2 salesmen I have interacted with during this purchase (Colton and Cornell) don't seem to know anything at ALL. The financial manager (Andy) does not know how to do his job and even tried to take the car away from me because of a clerical error on his part. If it were me, all 3 of these guys would be fired for incompetence. If I could give Ken Garff Honda of Orem 0 stars, I would. More

After leaving the dealership the third time (the fact that I had to go in to the dealership twice after buying my car is telling enough), I felt completely disrespected, unappreciated, and marginalized. They couldn't have been more demeaning if they tried. I came to this dealership because a relative suggested it. They said that had had a fantastic experience and had never had such a great, low-pressure car buying experience. That was not my experience at all, and I would suggest that you go anywhere else to buy a Honda. I do love my new car, it has been great, but the experience couldn't have been more frustrating. While I appreciate the amount I was able to get for my trade-in, that was about the only positive thing I got out of my car buying experience. While I knew what I wanted when I walked in, I expected at least a little bit back and forth about costs and colors and such, especially since the car I was buying needed to be brought in from another dealership. But before I knew it, the salesman had already picked a color and requested that a car be brought from another dealership. Ok, fine, I was planning on leaving with a car, but I had never really said which color I really wanted. Then he brought me paperwork to sign! Before I had really 100% made a decision! And he didn't explain anything about what I'd be paying, what interest rates I could expect, or what financing options I'd have. I didn't even know what my monthly payment would be until I talked to the finance manager. But, I pressed forward. Despite the irregularity of the situation and the fact that the car I wanted needed to be brought from another dealership, I persevered. When the salesman told me they'd have to bring the car in from another dealership, he said they'd have it that night. That was fine, I was willing to wait a few hours. But then, as I was signing the paperwork, he came in and said they wouldn't have my car until Monday!! So now, I've signed papers, traded in my old car, and handed over a substantial down payment, and I was going to leave without a car!! So, it didn't go to plan, I'm a pretty patient person, I didn't make a big fuss. And, with the promise that my new car would be ready and waiting first thing Monday morning, I left the car dealership with my old car. So, after waiting the rest of the weekend, Monday finally rolled around. Confident that my car would be ready for me, as promised, I called ahead to make sure I'd be able to pick up my long awaited, brand new car on my lunch break. But, what do you know, yet again, I'm told that my car still isn't there and that it won't be ready to be picked up until 6:00 that night!! But, I didn't make a fuss, after all, what was I going to do? At long last, I got off work and drove over to finally take my new car home. I entered the dealership and waited over 20 minutes before the salesman was finally able to help me. Then, to my shock, I was told that there had been a problem with my paperwork, a wrong VIN number was entered on the paperwork by the salesman. As a result, I was asked to re-sign ALL OF MY PAPERWORK. ALL OF IT. At this point, I was beyond words. I was so frustrated, but I felt powerless. What could I do but sit there and re-sign ALL OF MY PAPERWORK? Finally, after another 20 minutes of re-signing my paperwork, I was finally able to drive away with my new car. And that should be the end of this story, right. I thought it would be, but I was wrong. About two weeks after I left the dealership with my new car, I got an email from the finance manger saying they needed proof of income to fully authorize my loan. Ok, not too much of a hassle, and I'd been enjoying my new car, so I happily sent it over. Then, I found out that even though I'd signed paperwork granting them permission to request a new title for my trade-in, the hadn't been able to process it. So, they needed me to bring in my title. So, I had to return to the dealership for a third time after purchasing my car to take in the title. At this point, I am thoroughly fed up with the entire dealership and I'm through playing nice. When I took my title in, I decided it was time for me to speak up and let it be know how upset I've been with this whole process. So, after handing over my title, I let the finance manager know how upset I am with the whole process and that this has been an extremely exasperating experience for me. He apologized, but seemed pre-occupied. I again re-stated my frustration and let him know that I was going to give the dealership a bad review. He apologized again, but didn't offer to let me talk to a manager or to compensate me in any way for my time and obvious frustration. I left the dealership, for what is hopefully the final time, feeling thoroughly frustrated, undervalued, and taken advantage of. While I absolutely love the car, I will be telling everyone I can to stay away from this dealership. More

Great customer service when buying a car. I went to buy a car at this dealership and everyone was very helpful. If I had a question someone was always willing and able to answer it. The car was still pretty new and had never had a problem. When I took my car in it was fine, when I drove the car off the lot it was making a funny sound. I went back in later that week and was told it would be 4-5 hours before they could look at my car, but if I made an appointment it would only be 2-4 hours before they would get to it. They were busy, but I felt like they should prioritize a problem they likely (or even possibly) created. When they finally got to my car, they said a wheel bearing was broken, and would cost $300 to fix. I understand that coincidences happen, but wheel bearings don't just break like that on a fairly new small car. I drove it on the lot with no problems, and drove it off needing a $300 fix. Also, I no longer trust they did the service they said they did and will probably pay another mechanic to check it out. I will never even consider going there again and will tell everyone I know to go somewhere else as well. It's not worth the risk. Also, through each exchange taking with the employees, they actually looked at me with their full attention maybe once. For a company that advertises listening, they didn't do much of it. I get that your busy, but when you're working with me look at me, and stop working through paperwork for other cars. More

After a 30 minute drive and taking work off early I arrived to find out the car most interested in was sold. I questioned the sales person ( name with held) and he said I called you and left a message, I confirmed the number sure enough it was my cell number and no calls . The sales person did not care and lied about calling. I showed up to my appointment 5 minutes early and talked to one of the dealer's service employees. The employee said there was no way they were going to get to it today (my appointment was in the early afternoon). He said to just come back next week. There was no sympathy. He was kinda rude about it actually. What's the point of making an appointment? I will be taking my car somewhere else in the future and will never be going back More

The repairs take 4-6 hours each, so now I am out of work for 2 days because they couldn't take the time to tell me they don't have the required parts for the repairs before I drove down. More

I bought their packaged deal of three oil changes/tire roations/multi-point inspections. I sit there and wait forever, for them to change the oil and rotate the tires. I was told they performed the service I picked up my keys and went out to my car. The tires were not Rotated, I had a mark (good sized scratch from sliding into a curb one winter) on my rims and it was at the exact same location as it was before I went in for my service. I was ticked but I had no proof...so the next time my car was up for a service I took a picture of the tire and its location on my car, they performed their "service" of rotating my tire and changing the oil, I picked up the keys and went to the car...sure enought they didn't rotate the tires again. I was livid, I went back into the dealership and let them have it. THEY ARE COMPLETELY DISHONEST LIARS...I would never reccommend them, they are theives and crooks!!!!! More
