I did not buy my Honda from them, but I have had all my service done there. Their biggest challenge is that every time they rotate service managers, the new guy thinks he has to prove himself and they c service done there. Their biggest challenge is that every time they rotate service managers, the new guy thinks he has to prove himself and they change pricing and up-sale techniques. For example, for a long time they had oil changes at $16.95. Now they are about $30. This changed when the management changed. They now also try to up-sale you on their services whether you need it or not. For one of my scheduled services the price seemed high and I called another dealer and found out that there is a price difference depending on the engine (v6). I called the Orem dealer back and they matched the price since they didn't need to replace spark plugs, etc. I don't think they are necessarily malicious -- more likely they just don't have their act together that well. The management turnover is very high at the Ken Garff dealerships in Orem. Over the 9.5 years I've had my car and worked with them, most of my experiences have been fine for regular maintenance though their scheduled maintenance seems high. More

I have had my oil changed here three times. The first time, I noticed that the carwash had scratched my polish on the paint of the trunk door. The second time, I asked for no carwash, and they washed it time, I noticed that the carwash had scratched my polish on the paint of the trunk door. The second time, I asked for no carwash, and they washed it anyway. The third time, they washed it again, and afterwards, there was a 1-INCH CRACK IN MY WINDSHIELD that is now spreading (from the defroster). The crack wasn't there before. Also, there were hundreds of other tiny pock-holes in the windsheild and I began to become concerned. I got out and found many more scratches similar to the previous ones I had found. It seemed that they didn't bother to clean the rags and scratched the paint up. I went back to the dealership and showed them to Michael (unknown last name), and he refused to comment on the scratches and said the holes in my windsheild were rock chips, and that the crack was a rock chip also. He refused to do anything about it, and I'm never going back. they had my car for 1.5 hours and did $150 - $250 damage. Say an emphatic NO to the complimentary "carwash" (READ: Sandblast) disservice.
