Get him while you can! I have been a customer of Kelly Jeep for over 3 years. I take my car there for routine service. Over that years, I have come to know many of the gen I have been a customer of Kelly Jeep for over 3 years. I take my car there for routine service. Over that years, I have come to know many of the gentlemen in the service department and NONE and I do mean NONE of them can compare to the likes of Mr. Dave Vrabel. I ALWAYS look to see if he is in the service area with hopes of dealing with Dave. Dave is a rare breed. Dave TRULY CARES about people and is HONEST and goes out of his way to help when he doesn't have to. I walked into the service area today for my scheduled appointment, and I noticed there were 3 employees sitting and talking to one another, no customers were in the waiting area and I was told I would have to wait a few minutes. Really? Why do I need to wait when there are no other customers here? Just then, Dave walked into the area and I was ECSTATIC to see him In hindsight, I am not even sure if Dave was available to help me or not, but if he was busy, he didn't let on about it, and he immediately stopped and helped me and got my car entered into the computer system and we talked about various other car services that might be a good fit for my car due to its milage. Dave took the time to review my last few service visits and reviewed scheduled service options with me. This took several minutes of added time but Dave didn't seem to mind, he just cared. For what its worth, I did notice that the 3 employees that told me to wait when I walked in- all 3 were still sitting and talking to one another when I walked by them to go wait in the lobby for my car. I don't even want to think about how long I might have been there had Dave not been there. Dave took the time to come back to the waiting area several times to give me an update and even took the time to personally let me know that he was leaving for the day, but that he asked the receptionist to come and get me when my car was done and that he applied a coupon for me! Who gives that kind of care and attention to detail like that nowadays? DAVE. No one but Dave. I repeatedly thanked Dave and reminded him that he is truly one of a kind and that I personally do look for him every time I go to Kelly and that people do appreciate him and do look forward to him. The other people that work in that department could and should take time to learn from Dave. He is a dying breed. He told me he will be retiring in a few years. I know I will be sad to see him retire, but I will be so very happy for him. I have 2 more years to look forward to seeing Dave, and trust me I do look forward to seeing him, because in todays unscrupulous world, I know Dave will tell me the truth and not try to sell me things that my car doesn't need. I hope that someone steps up and learns from Dave and tries to fill his shoes, but I am not sure they will ever come close to Dave. When Dave leaves, I already know and am prepared to take my business elsewhere; in hopes of finding someone like Dave. Thank you Dave for ALWAYS taking the time to care. Thank you for SUPPORTING people and treating them like family. Thank you for being YOU and not like the others. I hope this review reaches you so that you know that you make a difference in peoples lives and they appreciate you way more than you know. Thank you for all that you do. Wishing you all the best.
