Great Car Purchase Experience We had gone out on Saturday to look to trade in my husbands car for a newer used SUV/Truck. We went to about five dealerships on the automile before w We had gone out on Saturday to look to trade in my husbands car for a newer used SUV/Truck. We went to about five dealerships on the automile before we decided to stop at Kelly GMC/Buick. As soon as we entered the lot we weren't chased after by tons of sales people. We had walked over to a used car that caught our attention and were approached with the friendly (not pushy) demeanor of Heather who is one of the sales people. She asked us what we were looking for and we explained we wanted to trade in our car and purchase a used SUV or truck since we have two dogs and plan on starting a family within the next few years and wanted to be prepared! Instead of hounding us with all the trucks, she went on to tell us about her dogs and asked about ours and we shared some stories. It was like being with a friend rather than someone trying to push us into a car. After talking for a little while about our dogs, she started to tell us about what some of our options were and walked us around the lot. She wasn't forceful and was very attentive about what we were looking for. She showed us a GMC Terrain SLT2 that they had just marked down a great amount. We took a look at it and she showed us the inside and asked what we thought. My husband and I both liked all the options the car had but we weren't sure if we wanted to spend that much money. She completely understood. But since we were still very interested and wanted to see what kind of payments we would be looking at since we had the trade in and money available for a down payment. She then checked out our car and took it for a test drive. When that was done we talked about pricing. The best way to describe the financing situation GMC has to offer is OPTIONS. They give you a list of tons of options and what that monthly payment would amount to. When we first saw the numbers they were better than what we thought they would be but not still where we felt the most comfortable. She asked us what we would feel most comfortable at and we gave her a price. Within minutes she came back and showed us that they would be able to agree to that monthly payment with our trade in and less than $2000 down. She then showed us the Kelly Blue book for that car with all the options. We literally saved thousands of dollars off the ticket price. We ended up going out looking for an older used car that probably would have broken down in a few years and ended up stopping by Kelly GMC just by chance and leaving with a beautiful car that all of our neighbors thought we just bought a brand new 2015 model (yes, it was that nice!)! We also were given the factory warranty and an extended warranty which gives us the comfort of knowing if anything goes wrong we will be covered. We have been searching for other GMC Terrains and even have a hard time finding one with all the options our has let alone even close to the low price we ended up paying. Overall, Heather was a WONDERFUL person to work with and i HIGHLY recommend seeking her out if you are interested in getting a new/used car! So now we have a certified used car that includes lifetime free inspections (for the car we purchased AND a second car in out household!), car washes and looks just as nice as the 2014-2015 models! COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!! More

However, if I did decide to purchase one, I had decided I wanted AWD, heated seats, backup camera, and navigation ability. I did not want a big car. I was steered to the Buick Encore and it didn't take much for me to make up my mind. Nick Paxos took time to explain all the features and how it worked and then made sure I had his card so I could call him with any questions I might have. He worked hard to get me the best deal he could give me and I left with my new Buick Encore and full confidence that I had indeed made a good buy. I am leaving for a cross country trip and feel good knowing that I am in a reliable vehicle and am expecting to have no problems. I love all the bells and whistles that come with the Encore. Now I just have to learn how to use all of them, but know that Nick is only a phone call away if I get stumped. We did not, however, know very much about the product. Enter Nick Paxos. Nick was able to answer every question we threw at him, and every question we didn't know to ask. His knowledge about, and confidence in, the product made us feel very comfortable about our purchase. From the moment we arrived at the dealership, Nick made our comfort his priority. He made sure we had full water bottles, offered us snacks, and even adjusted the temperature in the dealership. When we got down to scrunching the numbers, Nick showed flexibility until we were in agreement. We are very happy with our new car and with our decision to buy from Kelly Buick/GMC. He helped us decide that leasing was the better way to go and we are so much happier that we didn't need to do any loans. We never leased before andwereglad to hear him cover all options. They will get it done! I was shopping for a new car due to my vehicle being totaled in a highway collision. I knew that I wanted an AWD vehicle and something a bit larger than what I had previously had. We looked online and saw a 2013 Buick Encore for sale at Kelly and decided to stop by. Nick greeted us while we were browsing the lot in a friendly, but not aggressive (as some salespeople can be) way. He showed us where the car was located and told us about the features and reviews etc. I had researched the car to the extreme the night before and everything he said was spot on. I liked that he was so honest with us and at that point, I decided that if the test drive went well, I would buy the car. The test drive went well. He had my husband drive the highway portion and took us to a development where I could drive in a less crowded area, per my request. I was very nervous after my car accident and he was very understanding and accommodating to me. We went into the dealership to look at numbers and I was pretty sure everything was going to be smooth sailing at that point. Unfortunately, my credit score came up as non-existent for everything except Experian. It was dormant for Transunion and Equifax. At that point, I was 100% sure, that I was not going to get the car but they worked with me and I was able to get the car that I wanted and still pay within my targeted range without an insane interest rate. I will definitely be headed back to Nick in the next year or so when my husband decides to get a new car and I have been telling everyone that I know who is looking for a vehicle to go see him. If you want someone who is knowledgeable, honest, and friendly, not to mention hardworking, go into Kelly and ask for Nick. You will not be disappointed. More
