After driving a Maxima for ten years and being supremely pleased with the vehicle and with the service at John Roberts' Nissan, I knew I wanted another Nissan product. I did not know Dan Ross before the da pleased with the vehicle and with the service at John Roberts' Nissan, I knew I wanted another Nissan product. I did not know Dan Ross before the day I purchased, but he was tireless in his efforts to allow me to decide what vehicle I should purchase, and I never felt pressured. We test-drove several models, and he pointed out special features of each. He was personal, yet very professional in his approach. The next day he called to check on my pleasure with my vehicle and to let me know I'd left some items in the vehicle I traded. During the following week he called to check on me several times when I was unable (due to illness) to make it back to the dealership to pick up some mats I'd ordered. I have always been made to feel special at John Roberts' dealership and never more so than on June 6, 2013, when Dan Ross helped me drive home in the new Murano I've coveted for years. This is the second Nissan that I have bought from Chris and both times he was great. There was no pressure and worked hard to get the best deal for me. I would recommend Chris to anyone that I know! He was very respectful and courteous. I bought a 2013 Altima from Chris and he was able to tell me everything that I needed to know and was able to provide very respectful and courteous. I found a couple used Versas on the dealership's website and called them directly. Dan was the man who helped me, and he confirmed that the cars that I was interested in were on the lot. I made an appointment to drive out to Manchester from Nashville (45 minutes) to come see them because the price was very, very good. Later that week, Dan called to make sure we were still on for our appointment. My boyfriend and I showed up, Dan greeted us, and we drove two Versas. He left us alone with the sets of keys and gave us time to talk among ourselves without being pushy at all. This guy was as laid back as they come. He said he'd come find us in a little while to answer more questions. I knew which one I wanted, but needed to negotiate price. We went inside and started talking money/trades. Dan couldn't come down on the price as much as I had hoped, but he offered to let us talk to his boss (I think it was a boss?) to see if we could get any more luck with him. The man explained the position that the Versa I wanted was a dealer rental and the price was rock bottom as it was. (I already knew this from my research from every dang dealership in a 200 mile radius of Nashville. They really did have the lowest price.) He was polite and as friendly as could be, but he was all business. I appreciated the approach. He was only able to move a few hundred dollars from Dan's lowest offer. He left the room so my boyfriend and I could discuss, and 20-30 minutes later we decided to buy the car. Dan came back in, shook our hands, and we started signing papers. Dan filled the gas tank (on a used car!) and thanked us for coming all the way to Manchester from Nashville. He called a week later to check up on me. I LOVE MY CAR! Next time we buy a car, I'm half tempted to not even LOOK in Nashville; I'll just go straight to him in Manchester. Also, I only got one key fob when I first drove off the lot. A month later Dan called my boyfriend to ask why we didn't take the second key! Haha! Dan put it in the mail and I just got it today. Super happy with John Roberts Nissan and Dan's performance. More
I had not previously visited this dealership while searching (and deciding) on a new vehicle. I had read favorable ratings about the Nissan Frontier. I contact the dealership via the internet and rece searching (and deciding) on a new vehicle. I had read favorable ratings about the Nissan Frontier. I contact the dealership via the internet and received a response from Jim Yeargin in a short period of time. The subsequent phone call with Jim was favorable. We received what appeared to be a good price quote over the phone and traveled to the dealership the next morning. He was very patient. We drove several versions of the Nissan Frontier to decide which one would best meet our needs. We also compared the Frontier to a used Ford and Chevrolet Colorado at another dealership. We subsequently decided to purchase the Frontier with a Crew Cab. Having driven the king cab version with the 4-cylinder engine, I concluded that the Crew Cab was more practical. I also liked the fact there was a truck that was not loaded with options I did not want because of how the vehicle would be used. Jim was very patient and answered numerous questions we had about the Frontier and the options on the different versions of the vehicle. The one we selected did not have the towing hitch installed. We came back after the weekend to have this part installed. It was handled quickly by the service department. All in all, we had a good experience with Roberts Nissan and would recommend this dealership to others considering a car or truck purchase. More
