We had consistent issues with this dealership. We took our vehicle in at the beginning of June for an oil leak and transmission issues. We were told that it could be fixed in three days. Eight days later our vehicle in at the beginning of June for an oil leak and transmission issues. We were told that it could be fixed in three days. Eight days later we were able to get the vehicle back. We also needed wheels replaced and asked that while they had the vehicle to begin processing that claim. When we picked the car up, everything for the wheels was “in progress” we just had to send a phone number of the warranty company. I emailed the number to the service manager. Never received a response. Two weeks went by and I called asking for an update. They said that the warranty company hadn’t gotten back to them and that we also needed to bring the car back in so their “wheel guy” could look at them and see if they needed replaced or repaired. (We asked for this to be done when it was already being serviced). We brought the car back in for the wheel guy not to be there and to receive another call saying the pictures were fine, he didn’t need to see them in person. So, we waited another week for the warranty company to respond. After that week passed, I called again. They said the company hadn’t responded. So I called the warranty company and was told that no claim had actually been started…. Called Jeep AGAIN. This time, they shared they would follow-up and magically the claim was approved in 1 day. While all of this is happening, the oil leak (that we paid to have fixed) was not resolved. It actually looked like they caused damage which is what created the new leak. When the wheels came in they said when they were replacing them that they would diagnose and fix the oil issue since they caused the damage. Wheels came in, got installed, oil issue was diagnosed but of course it couldn’t be fixed. They needed to order parts. So we waited, again. Another 9 days went by and I called to see if parts had come in so that we could schedule again. They apparently had been there. When we scheduled they said it would be a quick appointment. Day of the appointment, we get a call from the service manager saying he didn’t realize how badly the dipstick and tube had been damaged and there was a piece of the dipstick that they needed to fish out and since they had to drain the oil we’d have to pay for an oil change. (Not sure how it’s possible since they diagnosed the issue and should’ve known what needed to be involved to fix). We just agreed to pay for the oil change to get the car home. The same day it comes home OIL IS STILL LEAKING. I call the service manager and his only suggestion was to bring it in for a third time. I just asked for my diagnostic fee back at that point and he said he already “replaced things he knows his tech didn’t break” and felt we were “even”. I am less than impressed. You never can get ahold of the service manager until you call the general manager (then you get a call from service within the hour) and the women answering the phone in service are clueless. every question we asked we got “I’m not sure, I’d have to ask the tech”. It’s dysfunctional, unprofessional and takes far too long for service appointments to be completed. We will never take our Jeep here again. More
Michael Wasson and Joe Fallon were very helpful and accommodating with paperwork and information as my husband and I traded in our 2015 Grand Cherokee for a new Grand Cherokee while he was out of town. accommodating with paperwork and information as my husband and I traded in our 2015 Grand Cherokee for a new Grand Cherokee while he was out of town.
