Painless Purchase- 2013 Ford Edge Limited I saw several Ford Edge vehicles on CarGurus- Found one I might like, sent an email to dealership- Joe Machens in Jefferson City, telling them I would I saw several Ford Edge vehicles on CarGurus- Found one I might like, sent an email to dealership- Joe Machens in Jefferson City, telling them I would be by the next day around 2pm to look it over, and test drive it. I quickly got a "canned" email reply. First thing the next day, I received a nice email directly from Bradley Kellerman, advising me he would have THE vehicle I emailed about, pulled up front and ready for me to test drive. Sure enough, it was up front and waiting for me. Bradley Kellerman, was personable and easy to deal with. The "financial" manager was a delight to work with. I would have to say it was a very comfortable transaction. NO Hard Sell, or pressure!!!!! Much better than I expected. A very awesome car buying experience! We were in our home at Lake of the Ozarks for the holidays and we'd been thinking of trading in our car for a new Explorer. We looked online at the de We were in our home at Lake of the Ozarks for the holidays and we'd been thinking of trading in our car for a new Explorer. We looked online at the dealer inventory for this dealership and found one that was just perfect! So we drove over to Jefferson City to check it out. However, the Explorer that we were interested in was at the dealership in Columbia (we did not know that the two dealerships shared inventory records). Cody Hodge met us at the door and we told him about the vehicle that we'd seen online and, after checking for its availability online, informed us of its whereabouts and offered to go himself to pick up the car. He left immediately for the Columbia dealership while we did some shopping and had lunch. He called us about an hour and a half later to tell us that the car was now at the Capital City dealership and we ran right over. From that point on, it was blissfully easy! We were satisfied with the offer for our trade-in and we LOVED the Explorer that we'd seen online. After we went for a test drive and went over a few things with Cody, we went into Chris Wiedmier's office for the paperwork. He was also more than accommodating and was happy to answer our questions and address our concerns. Then we went back to Cody, who had taken the car to get it cleaned up, and he went over all of the workings of the car. I previously owned a 2011 Explorer and the controls were almost identical so I didn't need much help. All in all, it was a wonderful car buying experience! We actually enjoyed it! This is our 6th Explorer - we always come back to Ford! More
