Service Department Customer service NONEXISTENT I have met with service manager on 2 different occasions. He clearly doesn’t think communication with customer is important at all. Service rep told me I would hear something from him within 3 hours. After 5 hours I called. No answer, no return call. An hour later, same thing. 30 minutes later I left a message for service manager. No return call. I showed up 30 minutes later. Service rep says it’s being looked at now-7 hours after I dropped it off (4 hours later than he was supposed to give me a status report. Manager doesn’t seem to care at all. To add insult to injury, they charged me for 2 hours of labor even though it only took one hour. I’ve been going there for 5 years. Dealership was sold a year ago. That’s when issues began. I will never go back! More

Routine Visit Gone Bad Went in for an oil change and light bulb replacement. Lots of lights out turned into a greater issue but they replaced 4 lightbulbs and charged me abo Went in for an oil change and light bulb replacement. Lots of lights out turned into a greater issue but they replaced 4 lightbulbs and charged me about $220 (including their new service charge of 4% for those with no cash) No notification of this via email. Just told at checkout after services have been completed. The man who was helping me told me over the phone that my car would be ready in 20-30 min (I’ve already waited 2 hrs for light bulbs and an oil change with toddlers) and that the labor charge would be waived because that would be silly for light bulbs. Turns out at checkout I had to pay $86 for labor on lightbulbs! I wanted to speak to a manager and waited 15 minutes for one to show up and nothing. Paid just so I can get the kids home. I came back in 30 minutes to pick up my car (after over 2 hrs of waiting already) and they took my car back to start on the bulbs as I was arriving. So disappointed with the quality of service and decency Jerry Ulm’s staff thinks is acceptable. I always write reviews and for the first time in 5 years of going to Jerry Ulm, I was unable to leave a review like I usually do via their link. Strange. I’ve always been treated well here. Sales staff great, finacing staff need more training. Took forever to get paperwork completed. After complete was told all paperwork was on hard drive. When I got home found out neither my extended warranty or service contract were on it. Took several calls to try to get resolved and eventually I had to drive to your dealership to get. Had to use my time and gas to finally get paperwork. Then when I tried to use my service contract for my first oil change it had never been activated. It took almost 4 months to get this resolved. Apparently after you buy a vehicle from you there is no sense of urgency to resolve problems. Right after I purchased my jeep I recommended your dealership to a friend at work ( sorry I did), he did purchase a new jeep from you but I made sure I warned him to check his paperwork and make sure you activated his warranty and service. My son is going to buy my jeep next year and I will be in the market for a new one but you can rest assured it wont be from Jerry Ulm. More
