John was an absolute dream to work with in general I have never liked working with car salesmen but John was not pushy and was the MOST HELPFUL salesman I have EVER had in all my car buying years. I went into this dealership only being in my current 3 year lease for 5 months, was very unhappy with my vehicle. I had tried to deal with many other dealers prior to get into a different vehicle with ev year lease for 5 months, was very unhappy with my vehicle. I had tried to deal with many other dealers prior to get into a different vehicle with every one of them turning me away and saying it wasn't possible without an absurd increase in payment. I visited Fingerlakes and this is by far the very best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Todd Gilbo was my salesman and he is the very best, I recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to go and see him. He and John Shields worked very hard to get me out of this lease and into an awesome GMC Terrain. They were available to assist me at anytime and made my buying experience very easy. My payment was very close to where I needed it to be and the service department is amazing as well. The overall service that I have received from this dealership has always been great, they have treated me as a good customer with laoner vehicles when mine were being serviced. The new 2014 Jeep Comp dealership has always been great, they have treated me as a good customer with laoner vehicles when mine were being serviced. The new 2014 Jeep Compass that I purchased in September was available on the lot for me to take for an extended drive. THE salesman, Ted Manslank has always greeted me by name when I came into the dealership and showroom. The entire staff from the service dept to the front office have always been very friendly and helpful. This is the 5th vehicle that I have purchased from this dealership (including the former owernership - Peter Koch Chrysler Dodge Jeep). More

This review is in amendment of my original review. I bought a Chevy Cruise and worked with Dave. Since then I have had mechanical issues with my 2011 Chevy Cruise. The car overheated a week after ownin bought a Chevy Cruise and worked with Dave. Since then I have had mechanical issues with my 2011 Chevy Cruise. The car overheated a week after owning the car, there was no antifreeze visible in the overflow jug, brought it back and they "checked" it and said there was no leak, flushed out the antifreeze and scolded me for putting the wrong color antifreeze in (on the side of the road with no antifreeze, does it matter?). A month later the car is out of antifreeze again. I called and told them and they send me to a Chevy dealership to have it looked at since it (obvious issues) will be covered under the factory warranty. Within 5 minutes at the Chevy Dealership they found a leak in the water pump, another leak in a hose and are replacing the thermostat. The day I called about this problem the "Check Oil Soon" light came on. After mentioning this he tells me "Oh They (service techs) must have forgotten to reset the light again, they do that alot"...if you ask me they "forget to do ALOT" They spent 2 hrs detailing my car the day I bought it but didn't bother to check the fluids, then when there is a problem they missed a couple leaks that could have been dealt with then. I warn everyone to have ANY vehicle checked by a REAL mechanic before you purchase it from this dealership..actually not buying from this dealership would be the better advice. High price, incompetent service, no customer service After the sale. More
