I was traveling and my 540i broke down in Irvine, expansion tank let go, I decided to take it to a BMW dealership because i thought they would have the part in stock. They did not and it took two day expansion tank let go, I decided to take it to a BMW dealership because i thought they would have the part in stock. They did not and it took two days to get the part and repair. I expected, the charges to be excessive, but they were way over the top, probably 3 times what I expected. The parts were nearly double oem from anyone else and the labor was at least double. More
