Was looking for a Mazda 3 SkyActiv White/Sand Dunes with Automatic transmission. Had visited a couple of other dealerships but did not buy there. Was met by Jonathan Marchand who immediately checked his inventory and had 2 on the lot that met my requirements. Took a short test drive and agreed to buy it. While he had to clear my offering price with the Sales Manager, it only took a few minutes. What pleasantly surprised me is that instead of sending me to the "Finance and Insurance" people where additional hard sell takes place (extended warranty, waterproof seats,...), Jonathan did all the paperwork himself so was done in about 15 minutes! The next day when I picked up the car, Jonathan showed me how to program my cell phone in so I could use it immediately and re-programed the service info so that it would remind me when to come back for the first "Free" oil change etc... From the second someone held the door open for me until the time I pulled out of the driveway in my new CX-5, I was treated with the utmost respect. Joe Balisalisa was my sales person; he listened to what I wanted in a vehicle, made suggestions that were within my budget, calmly and thoroughly answered my questions, didn't pressure me, explained how Mazda will provide service throughout the life of the vehicle, and let me experience that car shopping can actually be fun! I LOVE my new CX-5. I'd recommend this dealership to anyone in a second. More

My son was looking for his first car and found the perfect one on the internet for sale at this Dealership. We had an issue with the price with one of their sales managers, Steve. But this was very quickly resolved when the owner of this dealership and several others, John Patterson, took the time to call me personally. Mr. Patterson was polite, straight-forward and handled the problem very quickly. Everything was resolved and my son is now the proud owner of his first car. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car. You will be treated fairly. More

Salesman Robb Neely came out and introduced himself to my wife and I as we browsed the used cars on the lot. I went in looking to spend about $5000 when Robb showed me a clean 2002 Ford Escape. After some negotiation he offered me a price that was too good to resist and I ended up making a deal on the vehicle at approximately $1200 less than what it would have cost out the door at sticker price. Negotiation was straightforward and to the point which is something I value since my time is limited because of a heavy workload. The quality of the dealership that impressed me the most is the thorough inspection and needed repair of the used vehicle before it ended up on the lot offered for sale. This resulted in the vehicle offered in great mechanical condition. I would definitely recommend Huntington Beach Mazda and Robb Neely to my friends and that says a lot because I generally shy away from making recommendations that I might later regret. Thanks again for the great vehicle at a great price and the pleasant car buying experience that came with it. More

That said, we also keep an open mind to new suggestions or guidance on important information we might have overlooked. We met with Joe Rosales on Memorial Day weekend who was one of the best sales professionals we've worked with in over 30 years of car buying. He established a friendly and relaxed rapport, asked great questions to understand what we were really looking for -- all without any pressure or ever trying to force-fit a solution we didn't want. We ended up buying a mint condition certified Mazda 3 hatchback sport that same afternoon from a fantastic dealership who's team worked quickly and effectively to make a deal a reality. Now our 16 1/2 year old son is one VERY happy southern California kid rolling down the street in his first car! Make sure to give these guys a strong look -- you won't be sorry! More
