Mr. Crosby and I spoke on the phone Feb 25, 2012. I left with the impression that he was satisfied with our explanation and apology. I agreed that if he decides to purchase, we would take special care of him. Our standard policy is that if someone would like us to hold a vehicle, they must provide a cash down payment. Mr. Crosby had agreed to purchase the vehicle, but had not put down cash, so the vehicle was available for sale. We did make a mistake by not calling Mr. Crosby to tell him another customer was looking at the vehicle and give him the opportunity to buy it, but there was no lack of integrity in the people he encountered.
