I was not happy with the way they said they didnt know what was wrong with the used vehicle. I did buy the vehicle "as is". Granted it is 2008. But they let me.drive off the lot with this vehicle travelin what was wrong with the used vehicle. I did buy the vehicle "as is". Granted it is 2008. But they let me.drive off the lot with this vehicle traveling to Bloomington. When I arrived at my destination, I smelled gas so bad it was making me sick. The brakes were so hot that one registered at 240 and the other side read 800 after driving. I took it to my mechanics on Monday after I bought on friday. Come to find out this vehicle needed a new fuel pump, charcoal canister, vent/ fuel line. Then it need calipers, rotor, brake pads on the front. Costing over $2000. Also it needs Axle shaft removed and replaced, powerbbrake booster, power brake booster vacuum sensor, and some minor things adding up to another $2000. Give or take. I needed a vehicle badly. We withdrawal what little 401k we had to buy the vehicle for 9800 almost$ 10,000.00. I did let the dealership know what my mechanic had found out and sent them an estimate and list of what was wrong and cost. They did respond via text and phone very quickly.(Which was great of them). They said that they would give $400 to help with the gas issue. So I know I bought vehicle "as is".But I feel like the price on the vehicle should have been lower than the asking price. I wont accuse them of knowing,because I cant prove that they knew.They said they had it inspected,well I suggest you get a real inspector. I honestly feel like I cant trust car sales people, the statics are true about sales people. I feel like I was scammed because I was a women needing a vehicle. That is the opinion I have of my experience with Hubler Acura. I did accepted their $400,because I dont have the money to fix what all is wrong with the vehicle. The brakes grind so bad that I believe they were tampered with to not make that sound when we did the test drive. Which test drive was short lived. Granted we did go on interstate for like 5min. not enough for the brakes to warm up and start acting up. I am really disappointed. I trusted them and not again. Sorry I won't reommend the Hubler Acua even for a new vehicle. More
