I'm very happy with the way I was treated at Herb Chambers Hyundai. A very informative and professional salesperson helped me out by the name of Lance Brunell. I did do some research but not a lot and I felt like I needed to see the car in person which I did not want to do because I knew that I would be bombarded with sales people looking to make a dollar. When ever Lance Brunell came out it was simply "Welcome to Herb Chambers Hyundai, I just came out to answer any questions you might have." To make a long story short, all my questions that weren't answered online were answered and I now have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. Thank you Herb Chambers Hyundai but most importantly thank you Lance. First I was greeted by Ryan who was very friendly, and knowledgeable. he was able to answer all of my questions regarding some used vehicles that were out front. I recently stopped by Herb Chambers Hyundai in Auburn to test drive new Hyundai's. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable Kyle was about every car I test drove. He didn't make me feel pressured to bu test drive new Hyundai's. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable Kyle was about every car I test drove. He didn't make me feel pressured to buy, like I have felt at other dealerships. However, he helped me find the car I wanted and made purchasing a new vehicle painless and hassle free. I went into Herb Chambers Hyundai because I was interested in learning more about the Sonata. Throughout our conversation I found him to be professional, patient, and knowlegable. He knew that I could not make a decision that day and didn't push me. He made my experience a lot more comfortable then I had expected. I found him very friendly and look forward to returning, with my husband, to buy that car from him. This dealership was by far the best I have ever experienced. I was greeted immediately outside by a nice looking sales rep with a friendly smile. I have had prior experience at other dealerships where thy dont listen and dont care. He even got me a coffee and while he was getting that another friendly sales person made conversation with me. I will eventually purchase from Herb Chambers Hyundai because I feel comfortable in that dealership due to the kind and honest people that work there. Shopping for cars is usually a huge pain in the ....however at Hyundai they made it seem painless. When I explained that I did not have the money to buy that day he was still polite. When I get my funds together I will go back there. More
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! 1) I called to make sure that the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! 1) I called to make sure that the exact vehicle(color, make, model, year) I wanted was in stock so I didn't waste my time gett WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! 1) I called to make sure that the exact vehicle(color, make, model, year) I wanted was in stock so I didn't waste my time getting out of work early and driving 20 miles out of the way. The woman on the phone said it was there, well, I get there and they don't have my color. I was roped into going there. 2) The dealer pulled the car out for me to test drive...I know that this was a base 2012 Accent with no package and the MSRP should be $13,300. I looked at the sticker and it said exactly that, then there was this mysterious strip of paper next to it that said $15,000?!?! 3) After the test drive, I told him that I was not interested in that color, but he kept trying to sell me that car. 4) He sat my wife and I down and tried to negotiate with us starting at $15,000 (he still would not tell us where the extra $1,700 came from). 5) We told him that we were not interested in that color and we didn’t want to play games, but he just kept pushing a pen at us to have us write a number down. 6) He came up with monthly payments for 60 and 72 mos (based on the 15,000)….I asked him the APR that was used to calculate it out was, he said he wasn’t sure, and it was based on an average that their bank has been giving out lately. I got home and calculated out that it was 18.9% APR! Our credit score is 720, your bank is giving out 18.9% for good credit? I warned him that I had done my homework and I didn’t want to mess around….I was serious! This will probably fall on deaf ears, but I just wanted to try to let someone know that the Hyundai dealership in Auburn is upping the MSRP and trying to get people in there under false pretenses. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Hyundai inventory and took great care in listening and making sure that all of my concerns were addressed. I love my new car and was very pleased with my experience. I plan to make additional purchases with Ray in the near future with my children. More
