Replaced rear windshield wiper arm Techs took car at the time scheduled and had the installation fixed within 1 hour. I thought the labor charge was high for just changing a wiper arm. Techs took car at the time scheduled and had the installation fixed within 1 hour. I thought the labor charge was high for just changing a wiper arm. I could probably see 1/2 hour but the invoice does not state the hours I was charged for. i don't know what the hourly labor rate is at Herb Chambers but if the job did not take 1 hour then, $69.50 is a lot for less than an hour. More like Union labor rates. But the tech did a great job since I know how difficult it is to pull that arm off More
