After trying unsuccessfully to purchase a new vehicle from Wayside Ford in Marlboro this summer (their sales people could have cared less about my business), I was referred to Herb Chambers Ford of Brai from Wayside Ford in Marlboro this summer (their sales people could have cared less about my business), I was referred to Herb Chambers Ford of Braintree by Melissa Welch. Their service, and hers, was far superior to that than I received at the previous dealer. The process of upgrading to my new 2013 Ford Edge was extremely easy and stress free; the way buying a car should be! I have already recommended Herb Chambers of Braintree to friends and family. When it comes time to upgrade my vehicle again in the future, Herb Chambers of Braintree will definitely get my business. Thank you to Melissa Welch for the introduction to your sales team! More
I am very pleased as I purchased my SUV last week at Herb Chambers Ford, Braintree. It was a pleasure working with Brandon Williams as he was very nice, friendly, and professional. He made me forget about al Chambers Ford, Braintree. It was a pleasure working with Brandon Williams as he was very nice, friendly, and professional. He made me forget about all my terrible experiences in the past at other car dealers as he was very helpful! Even the financial end of it was such a pleasant experience. All of the workers I encountered that day went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with what I was purchasing and understood everything I needed to! I absolutely love my car and would definitely recommend other family and friends to go to Herb Chambers Ford, Braintree. More

This was my second time leasing a Ford through Herb Chambers of Braintree. The first time I went in, I was a little nervous about leasing and the whole ordeal, but everyone was so nice and respectful. Chambers of Braintree. The first time I went in, I was a little nervous about leasing and the whole ordeal, but everyone was so nice and respectful. This time, I went in to sign a new lease and it really was a great feeling knowing that Lou, Sean, and Miguel were all persistent about me getting the vehicle I wanted. They were all very patient with my indecisiveness and had nothing but smiles and sincerity throughout. I would highly recommend any and everyone looking for a car to go to Herb Chambers of Braintree. In 2013 I purchased a 2012 Ford Fusion from this dealership and found the experience to be a pleasant one. This October 2013 I decided to upgrade to a 2014 Fusion and because of my positive experien dealership and found the experience to be a pleasant one. This October 2013 I decided to upgrade to a 2014 Fusion and because of my positive experiences at this dealership in both sales and service I went back to make my second purchase. Once again the experience was pleasant and I found the sale representative and his manager to be professional, courteous, and knowlegeable about the car I was interested in purchasing. I would highly recommend Herb Chambers Ford of Braintree for purchasing your next Ford product. The sales and service are outstanding! More
I just wanted to tell people about the great experience I had at Herb Chambers. I had a jeep with negative equity for a trade and at least 5 dealerships would not help me out on a trade. Andre was the only had at Herb Chambers. I had a jeep with negative equity for a trade and at least 5 dealerships would not help me out on a trade. Andre was the only salesman that wanted to help me and he did not pressure me at all. He worked out an affordable payment that helped me purchase a new Ford Fiesta! The finance man Sean was amazingand was on the phone for hours trying to get the loan approved. I would definitely recommend Herb Chambers Braintree because they care about the customer! More
Went to lease Ford F 150 - have great credit and a BMW X5 to trade that was a wash in money from all dealers - each including Herb Chambers gave me the same value for my trade. Wanted a F150 Limited to leas to trade that was a wash in money from all dealers - each including Herb Chambers gave me the same value for my trade. Wanted a F150 Limited to lease - before going to any dealership I used the FORD web site calculator which shows the lease for the car you want to buy - my selection from the web site should have been $500 per month. Kirk was my sales rep - he was awesome and knowledgeable - Keith in Finance - decided he wanted to "Play Games" - sitting behind the desk making me and my son wait as he made faces at a computer screen. He then came back with $770 lease payment 1st offer. $270 per month higher than the web site calculator. I immediately got up and left as Keith chased me out the door explaining it was just his 1st offer. I walked out went to Quirk Ford Quincy where I bought a F150 Limited with 5K higher sticker price than Herb Chambers and more options for $549 - no games no hassle! If you live in Braintree take the time to go to Quirk - get more for your money and no games! I will pay for your gas to take the trip to Quincy - you will forever thank me! More

I bought a new 2012 Ford Focus at Herb Chambers Ford in September 2012. From the moment I drove off the lot, the electronics (Sync / My Ford Touch) were defective - as you'll see from the astonishingly lo September 2012. From the moment I drove off the lot, the electronics (Sync / My Ford Touch) were defective - as you'll see from the astonishingly long and varied list of defects below. I'm sure Herb Chambers Ford would be great to work with, as long as you don't have problems. But a company reveals itself not when everything is coming up roses, but when things go wrong. And this dealership has been absolutely awful. They have taken ZERO responsibility for solving my problems, but in essence, have told me to go pound sand. In my case, they have simply refused to take charge of my case and get it solved. Shockingly, they have not even replaced the APIM computer, which seems to be the brain behind most of the failures in this list. Without Ford’s approval, Herb Chambers Ford refuses to try it - even though it seems to make perfect sense. Here is a quick summation of the issues: - Bluetooth audio streaming is unusable. Sometimes it works, others not. Sometimes it connects but will only play audio through the iPhone's speaker, not the car stereo. It's a crap-shoot as to what will happen. - My bluetooth connection to my iPhone 5 is unusable. It usually connects, but sometimes won't. Sometimes it drops the connection after making it. I had precisely the same issues with my old iPhone 3GS too, so it's not just iPhone 5 compatibility. - When the iPhone 5 does connect to bluetooth, the outgoing audio is so bad that you just cannot understand it. That means that I’m forced to hand-hold the phone. That means that it's a safety issue. - Sync deleted its copy of the entire iPhone phone book - except for one entry. No matter who I told it to call, it would call Brian. The only name left in the phone book. - Intermittently, the audio through the AV Input refuses to work. Never mind bluetooth - I can't even play iPhone audio through the headphone jack. - My GPS is wildly erratic and unreliable, routinely providing bad directions that take me HOURS off-course. Things like "get off the interstate, take a maze of back roads, get back on the same interstate". Most often, (not always) this happens after turning the engine off at a rest stop or gas station. When the car restarts, the right ETA and Miles remaining come up correctly for a few seconds - then the GPS recalculates and comes up with bizarrely bad directions. - My transmission has refused to engage – once. In both the "D" and "S" (manual shift) positions, the engine revved, but the transmission stuck in neutral. Who knows where or when it will happen again? In a blizzard? In Death Valley? No solution was found, so I'm at the mercy of the car's computer. Or transmission. Or something else. - The audio warning for "door open with keys in the ignition" sometimes fails. There's a warning on the dash display, but no "bong" warning tone. - My driver’s window needed to be reprogrammed to function correctly - it lost the "express down" feature. It’s more evidence of erratic computer behavior. (Yes, the window is computer controlled. That surprised me too.) - The radio is so insensitive that it can’t be used to listen to a 50,000 watt AM station, just 31 miles away. The station is overwhelmed by static. - The radio doesn’t remember what station was playing when the car is turned off. It changes to an FM station of its choice. Again, not a big deal, but it’s more evidence of erratic computer behavior. Ford evaluated my car for a "reacquisition" - something offered for lemons. But they declined to replace the car. Herb Chambers Ford's advice to me was to file a Massachusetts Lemon Law action, which I now have done. So essentially, their response was tough luck. Sue us. I offered repeatedly to work something out with this rotten dealership. I told them time after time that I wanted nothing more than what I paid for. Time after time, they refused to help. Simply stated, in my 39+ years of car ownership, this has BY FAR been the worst car and the worst dealership I've ever dealt with. My advice to anybody who is looking for a car is to avoid Herb Chambers Ford at all costs. More
