It was preowned but they told me it was a great car, well taken care of, and passed everything with flying colors. I took it into a Kia dealership because my radio started glitching and acting up, and the Kia dealership let me know that my car had eight safety recalls on it. One of those recalls causing an electrical fire. That put me and my family in danger. I have two kids, and they let me drive off the lot knowing that recall was on there. When I took it into the Kia dealership, the Kia dealership called me back saying the car had a couple of underlying issues. The oil drain pan was leaking all through the car and the cars belts. The coolant needed to be flushed because it was so dirty. I needed an oil change. I bought a car where they told me everything was up to date, but come to find out, my car doesn’t need oil changes until 7500 miles. I’ve only driven the car right over 3000 miles since I got it. So that was another lie I got told. That cost me over $1400.00 out of pocket. The whole radio needs to be replaced, and they are wanting over $2500 dollars for it. I feel completely scammed. I paid around $33,000 dollars out of pocket for the car. Now not even 3 months later, it has all these issues. I wrote a review on google, and they reached out to me. I thought they were going to make it right, but they came back and said there’s nothing they are going to do. So this is really upsetting as we are a one income family, and I am a stay at home mom, and this has turned my family upside down. My family was put at risk, and this dealership isn’t wanting to do anything to make it right. I am distraught and very upset. At the end of the day, a car is replaceable, but my children and I are not. I want justice from this dealership. More

Worst dealership I have ever come across. I am now waiting for 3 recalls to get serviced. Recall 2: Made an appointment, had my car for 1.5 days, I called to check status and they had not even started the work. Apparently, they gave the parts needed to someone else, didn't have more parts, and were just keeping my car. They no longer have access to those parts. Now, I just received a letter for a 3rd recall. I called to ask availability and they just pass me off to service and they don't return calls. Stay away from Hennessey!! I'm hoping another dealer will be worth the drive and actually get work done and do what they say they will do. More

Odd experience here. Sales was friendly and helpful at first, but the customer service went south around the time they learned I wasn't financing with the dealership. Coordinating payment with the dealer was a complicated time-consuming process for my credit union and a big hassle for me. I've bought cars in the past where the payment process via credit union took 5 minutes. This one took an entire day. I'm happy with my new vehicle, but won't be buying here again. More

Since last spring, we paid roughly $12,000 out of pocket connected to this situation, including repairs, deductibles/co-pays, and items the dealership claimed were not covered under the extended warranty they sold us. Every visit followed the same pattern: delayed diagnosis, poor communication, and a lack of urgency. The vehicle would sit while we chased basic status updates that should be provided without being asked. Calls went to voicemail. Messages were ignored. Escalations took days to get responses. Our original service manager is gone, and leadership used that as an excuse for what went wrong. The problems are systemic. Loaner/rental support was also a major issue. My daughter is a young adult trying to keep her job. For months, she had no vehicle while the dealership controlled the timeline and the authorization steps. The only time a loaner was finally provided was late November through February, roughly six months after the original problems started. The extended warranty experience was worse than useless. It was presented one way and worked another. Instead of simplifying repairs, it added friction and delay at every step. In the end, the warranty cancellation refunded us $0. They also pitched an “exchange” program, implying we could swap into another used vehicle and apply a cancelled-warranty credit to help offset the difference. Once we got into the numbers, there was zero negotiation and zero goodwill. The deals they presented effectively required about $10,000 more out of pocket, while treating the warranty “credit” like a future promise instead of a documented number on the buyer’s order. A specific example from our timeline: in late September and early October 2025, the Escape sat at the dealership with no meaningful communication for an extended period. After an escalation email, the Service Manager responded that they needed another key and had to tow the vehicle into a bay. Days of silence over a key and a tow is not acceptable. We ultimately sold the car to Hennessy and will never do business with them again. If you value communication, predictable timelines, and competent warranty support, I cannot recommend this dealership’s service operation. More

I didn't realize until after delivery that the dealership has mismatched the tires on an AWD vehicle (a big safety issue). When I spoke with the salesman, he told me multiples time that the used car manager would contact me. It's been almost two weeks now with no call. I tried to contact the General Manager about the issue, but he doesn't take phone calls (only e-mail communication). This dealership has a "Piece of Mind" motto but they haven't done anything after the sale to back that up. Be warned... More
