Worst service experience ever! This was by far my worst experience coming to Hawk and will never bring any vehicle there in the future or purchase from them. When I bought my ce This was by far my worst experience coming to Hawk and will never bring any vehicle there in the future or purchase from them. When I bought my certified pre-owned Jeep, the prior owner had a package of 4-oil changes/tire rotations that was transferred to me. When you buy these yourself they are non-refundable. I used My first one in December with no issues. Last week I tried Using my second and they had told me the original owner called and they refunded him for them. Shady sales move but not surprised nor is that my main concern. I brought my truck in for service due to an extreme shaking in my transmission. Mind you my Jeep is a 2018 supposedly certified pre owned with 13k miles on It. They originally told me it would take 2 weeks to look at which was alarming because I didn’t feel safe driving it. So I had Them just do the oil changes and tire rotations while I had It there. When they were finished the porter had mentioned the severity of the shaking and they took a look at what was going on. They called me and told me my trans mount was broken as well as many mechanical parts shifting on the right side of the vehicle. They then accused my vehicle of being in an accident because it was the ‘only’ way this could’ve happened. There were no accidents, They even said if I did Get in an accident it was one heck of a job paint marching and body work to cover it up. I was Appalled, I have Insurance if there were to ever be an accident especially with mechanical and body issues I would have claimed it through my insurance company and paid a deductible, not come out of pocket. However they said it’s unexplainable and they wouldn’t cover it under my warranty. I couldn’t believe they could just accuse me of being in an accident and not honor my warranty and on top of it the manager I was Speaking to had the rudest tone with me ever. I owned A wrangler in 2012 and used Hawk all the time and they were great which is why I kept Going back but after being in another vehicle for the last few years this was my first time back with them and will be my last. The rude manager told me My only other option was to wait 1-3 weeks for Mopar to come inspect it and see if it was due to a defective part. Or pay out of pocket to have the work done. I did Not feel comfortable waiting that amount of time as no one should so I took My car to another Jeep dealership. I went to Larry Roesch Chrysler dodge Jeep ram in Elmhurst and explained my situation. They understood the severity of my situation and got me in the same day and had my vehicle looked at the next day! Mind you hawk couldn’t originally look at my vehicle for 2 weeks! Larry Roesch found a completely unrelated problem. Didn’t find any mechanical deformity, no broken trans mount and nothing shifting on the right side of the vehicle. They had it repaired and in two days I had My vehicle back no charge! I will Never bring my business back to Hawk ever again nor will my family or friends. And for the record I am The last person to ever write a bad review but when it comes to vehicles and car salesmen/service it is such a shady industry and would never want someone to waste their time or money trusting a company who is out for themselves and not the customer. If this review stops one person from servicing their vehicle through Hawk I would Feel like it served its purpose. I highly recommend taking the ride to Elmhurst. I’m from the city and it’s more of a drive but the care and trust I received from Larry Roesch will keep me making the travel. More
3 Month Check Up I brought my Compass in for the 3 month check up and oil change. I love the fact that the first oil change is free! Even though the service department was down 2 techs, I was still out of there in about a half hour. I will be back. More
Ripped off! Brought my 07 Dodge Caliber in for a computer flash due to having had the tranmission changed. The service adivsor Oscar Aguirre did a terrible job. I was told the programming would be preformed at my risk as it was not guaranteed to work. I had quoted other dealers beforehand and hadn't been told this. Even so I went ahead with the work and was called that my car was ready - they didn't do anything to it. In the end I was charged $140.36 for nothing. Supposedly they flashed the computer but they didn't even test drive it, because occording to Oscar "they didn't diagnose the problem and only did what I asked". What crappy service. He said to diagnose the problem it would be an additional $280.00! I picked up my car and took it to Aamco in Oak Park. Very nice people, provided a free courtesy check and reprogrammed the computer on my car for $189.35. Car's been running great since. Bottom line - I'll never spend a penny here and will warn everyone to beware. Rude, smart-xxx advisors and terrible service. More

I called the service manager Randy Honda to tell him how rude Heba was and she has no customer service and no people skill and he did nothing about the situationafter I told Mr. Honda I didn’t want her on my case but he still let her call me. And when I went to pick up my car from them my car had all the snow on it from Saturday when it snowed and service said that they cleaned it off the best that they could but let me remind you that I brought my car in for no heat which they could not fix under the extended warranty and my car windshield was frozen and they expect me to drive home like that bad customer service I told them this is illegal for me to drive my car like that you should have brought it inside and let it warm up some so the snow could melt off my car and I could see how to get home. More

Asked to have my steering column boot replaced as previously instructed by Hawk at another appt., The part was ordered. Was told that the mechanic had to look at the car. I sat and sat waiting for someone to get back with me . 2 and a half hours later went to desk to ask if he had looked at the car was told that he had brought the car in and was working on it. Says its going to be more than the hour previously quoted. I showed him him the paper work showing the price of the part and labor, Boot $95.00 labor $140.36. Also told I had a coupon. He informed me that he could not accept the coupon because he did not charge me the cost for 3 hours work. Informed him that I know it did not take 3 hours because I kept getting up looking to see if my car had been bought in and the fact that I still paid the amount included in the cost for the coupon amount to be deducted. He says well I cant accept the coupon. Since you have the quote from previous service adviser and you been here so long I'm not charging you for the 3 hours work and will charge you what the previous advisor quoted you in error. Upset because I've been here since 9:30 its not 12:50. I leave and my signal is now not working does not cut off after making a turn. Turned right around and came back and had to wait another 45 minutes for the mechanic to reconnect the turn signals. Very upset my whole day spent waiting 4 hours for a hour job. I usually go home and wait until job complete but left waiting for the mechanic to check the car first.... misinformation...... Their were a lot of young men there on this day working on cars not the regular workers. Could this be the problem? More
