This dealership tried to pull a used salesman maneuver by not disclosing an over $1000 added fee (after taxes) to the cost of the vehicle. This fee was under the title "protection fee" and was in tiny print not disclosing an over $1000 added fee (after taxes) to the cost of the vehicle. I sent an email to the dealership at 7am the next morning followed by phone calls throughout the day, leaving messages, trying to get someone there to return my calls in regard to this hidden fee. The day came and went with no one returning my call. The next morning when I was to pick up the car a sales person (who was not the person I'd been working with) phoned me to tell me that in fact it was an added fee to all of their used vehicles, nothing to do with any kind of protection. I was told my sales person would call me and he never did. Needless to say, I did not pick up the car. I never want to deal with this dealership again. My only regret is having to rush out of there after we bought our car due to having a prior event to go to and I could not take a picture with Philip and our New to us 2023 Forester Sport but hope to catch up with him during my service visit! Yesterday my wife Joy leased a Subaru at Grand Prix Subaru in Hicksville, she spent the last four days searching for the right car at the right price. She finally was referred by a friend to try Grand Prix. the salesperson Eitan Kats was by far the easiest, nicest salesperson out of all the dealerships making Joy's buying experience fast, easy with no nonsense. Highly recommend Grand Prix and if you’re in the market for a Subaru, ask for Eitan Kats, very professional. More
