Upon my visit, dealer handed me a proposal on new car $13,000 over their advertised price. Most one star reviews are for the new ownership. 4 and 5 stars seem to be for the previous ownership. $13,000 over their advertised price. I contacted Grand Hyundai of Canton to inquire about a newly listed MY2025 vehicle. Wayne responded that the listing price is $59k. This is for a vehicle that was produced in 2024. Pricing for a new vehicle MY 2026 is $59,900 for comparison sake. When the listing was updated the price was $51,427. Needless to say, I was not impressed with Wayne. More
Very disappointing and frustrating experience. I called the dealership beforehand and was given a specific deal price over the phone. Based on that price, I drove 1.5 hours to the dealership, only I called the dealership beforehand and was given a specific deal price over the phone. Based on that price, I drove 1.5 hours to the dealership, only to have them change their story and give me a significantly higher price when I arrived. If the price was not actually available, they should have been honest and upfront about it before I made the long drive. I understand that negotiations can happen, but telling a customer one price over the phone and then changing it after they arrive is misleading and disrespectful of the customer’s time. I expected better from a dealership that wants to earn customers’ trust. Unfortunately, this experience made me question their honesty and how they conduct business. I would strongly recommend getting everything in writing before making a long trip to this dealership. More
Just want to share with Travis and Rummy the horrible experience I've had at the dealership and with Hyundai Customer Care. I have a 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz with electrical problems making the vehicle n experience I've had at the dealership and with Hyundai Customer Care. I have a 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz with electrical problems making the vehicle not drivable. Hyundai Customer Care made an appointment with your dealership and was turned away by a very rude and cocky young service advisor. Hyundai Customer Care has reached out to Alejandro about my concerns on multiple occasions with no response. I've been around the Automotive Business since I was a kid. My grandfather owned a Chevrolet, Cadillac and Chrysler dealership for many years. I've been in the Automotive business for over 40 years myself and would never treat any of my customers the way I've been treated by your dealership and Hyundai America. One thing my grandfather told me is treat the customer with kindness and respect and you'll have a customer for life. I still live by that motto today with customers at my dealership. There is no one running this dealership right now because the GM was recently fired. The inmates are running the asylum as they say. No one wants to take accountability at this dealership. Im very sorry that Rummy bought this dealership and dragging his good name through the mud. I've escalated my concerns to the ownership group of this dealership and to Hyundai corporate hoping someone reaches out to me about my concerns and horrible experience. I dont see how a dealership can run and provide great customer service. To all potential Hyundai buyers please do not buy a inferior product like Hyundai. By a Toyota instead where you'll receive great customer service and a far superior product that you'll be happy with for years to come. I hope this review reaches the ownership group of this dealership. I'd love to hear from Rummy or Travis about my concerns but I won't hold my breath. More
TECHNICIAN REVVING TO LIMITER: Brought my Elantra N, on July 27th, with just over 10,000 miles to get warranty work done. Had an appointment to drop my car off by 9:30 AM and got the pick-up text at 2:51 P July 27th, with just over 10,000 miles to get warranty work done. Had an appointment to drop my car off by 9:30 AM and got the pick-up text at 2:51 PM. Seems fine right. Thats until I realized all they did was order the parts and not do any work to it. Mind you, the warranty work was for peeling vinyl wrap on the top window trim around all four windows. Took them 5 hours to order the parts and text me to come pick it up. Why? Worst part about this visit. Was the technician (Aaron Barkley) that worked on my car decided that revving my possibly cold engine to the limiter, in track mode, was a good idea. Doing so requires Aaron Barkley to slam the accelerator down until the rpm hits the limiter to force the car to produce pops and bangs. This incident added unnecessary engine wear, possible warranty issues, and potentially damaged my powertrain. Luckily, I have a dashcam that recorded his fun time. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and disrespectful to any customer. UPDATE: Spoke with the service manager today, July 29th, to get a document of the incident. Instead, the service manager threatened to have me trespassed and told me to never return. The day prior, he assured me he could provide me a paper copy for my records in our meeting. The service manager decided that me videoing his unprofessional and disrespectful responses was too incriminating and walked away. It seems he never intended to give me any document. The general manager (George Leslie) hasn’t responded to my email, reached out, or provided a documentation of the incident. I’m positive, the technician (Aaron Barkley) was not reprimanded for abusing my engine. Therefore, I can only conclude that this dealership is corrupt to the core. The service manager being afraid of a camera tells me that he doesn’t want to be held accountable or responsible for what he said. Georgia is a one party consent state. Therefore, your policy doesn’t trump the law. I do not recommend this dealer.... 0 stars..... More
