I’m not even sure where to begin but my overall time dealing with my car waiting to be serviced was unpleasant. It took over 3 months for my vehicle to be serviced and finished. I was first told it would take at least two weeks for my vehicle to be looked at to find out what the issue was. I was patient and even waited 3 weeks before I called after not being contacted. Once I finally called after those 3 weeks I was unable to get any sort of update from the service department. Not only was I unable to get any sort of update I was unable to reach a service tech and let alone have one return a call . I was able to reach a receptionist/dispatcher regarding the issue and they said they would leave a message with the service tech to reach back out to me. However, weeks past and I had yet to hear anything from anyone. Mind you, I was told a loaner vehicle could not be provided until they were to find out what was wrong with my vehicle to see if one could be covered under the warranty. Which, as mentioned earlier, would take a minimum of two weeks. So at the very least I would have to go two weeks without a vehicle. Which two weeks ended up extending out into 3 months in which I was without a vehicle. I reached out several times, from one month to another, to get an update and find out if warranty would cover a loaner that way I can get to and from work while my vehicle was in the shop. Despite allowing ample time to at least return a call it wasn’t until after 3 months without even the slightest at all of updates that I was told my vehicle would be ready within a couple of days. It wasn’t until this time that I was able to find out what was wrong with my vehicle. However, a loaner at this point was pointless as the vehicle was said to be ready in a matter of a day or so. I’m not sure if the experience is representative of all Hyundai service departments or representative of the overall Hyundai brand but it was not one that left a good taste after being loyal to Hyundai for quite some time now. Some weeks ago I had my car serviced with Matt Paterno for the first time. His level of service was impressive. He was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to ask questions about my concerns wit for the first time. His level of service was impressive. At the end of our discussion he reviewed a repair plan with me and kept me up to date on the progress until completion. I would highly recommend Matt to others and look forward to work with him in the future. . More
Despite making appointments for an oil change it always takes 2-3 hours to get it done. Also, last time they never put a sticker in the window showing when next service is due. takes 2-3 hours to get it done.
