My 2017 Santa Fe had a recall for a faulty brake fuse. I originally scheduled service on 6/30/22 and after 40 minutes in the waiting area I was told they didn’t have the replacement parts. I was told that they would call me when the parts were available. No one ever contacted me. I set another appointment to get the recall fixed and to get an oil change. I said at the time I made the appointment to make sure that the part to repair the recall was there and they assured me it was. I took the vehicle in at at my scheduled date and after about an hour they said my car was ready. As I proceeded to pay for the oil change I noticed there was nothing about the recall repair on the receipt. The service manager said they didn’t have the part but they could get one in a few days. Needless to say I was livid, I questioned as to why when they knew the part wasn’t in stock they didn’t have the courtesy to call me to reschedule and was told “we’ll the system is not very good and they have no way of knowing if the part is available until the technician goes to get the part.” I had to spend 3 days and 3 25 mile round trips to get a fuse replaced. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership in the last six years. I wasn’t offered anything for my inconvenience not even an apology. I will never step foot in this dealership again and I have told everyone I know to do themselves a favor and stay away from Gettel dealerships. More
I brought my car in for recall number 22V-056 anti lock brake system for Tuscon. I made appointment 3 weeks ahead of time. Waited an hour to find out they did not have the part. My last service was tire rotation. It's indicated that all the tires were filled to proper air pressure.
