Had my 2013 Ford Escape which had been in a accident fixed here. After 2 months and many lies finally got my car back. First thing go to buckle my seatbelt and it comes off in my hand, when I go back in fixed here. After 2 months and many lies finally got my car back. I leased a brand new car from this location. Nothing but issues from the start. First my regiistration was wrong so I had to re-do paperwork twice. I said no way, the chap stick was just put in there and this noise has been there for months. Brought it back a second time, told fluid sloshing around under the hood is what I was hearing. FINALLY had my fiancee come back with me and found out it was a fault part of some sort. After 3 visits, finally fixed. Now my Sirius radio 6 month free trial was cut short by Sirius because the DEALER screwed up again. I will NEVER shop there again More
After being "hustled" at other dealerships, we were pleasantly surprised by an easy going, laid back buying experience at Gateway. I bought a 2008 Veracruz from Gateway Motors, and the SUV was plagued with problems over the course of the past three years. These problems included electrical malfunctioning, a gas tank that wouldn't open, was plagued with problems over the course of the past three years. These problems included electrical malfunctioning, a gas tank that wouldn't open, doors that would not unlock at times, and a major system failure while on a family vacation. I attempted to turn in the Veracruz and was offered $6K less than the value of the car as listed in both NADA and KBB. Another dealer offered me fair market value of the car one week later. My experience with this dealership was regrettable. More
We took our cruiser to Gateway for Service, wouldn't start. Originally told it was a $ 45.00 transponder, then a computer, which I was told by the Tech that it was covered under warranty. After a week of being at their facility, I was finally told it was a pinched wire, in the vehicle wiring harness. At the end, nothing covered under any warranty, bill was $ 1,959.71. When I spoke with the owner he advised me that the technician had no authority to tell anything was under warranty. We will never purchase anything from this dealership.
