Apparently likes to sell cars and then report them stolen. They (Chris) took a down payment for a car and told my son that the car had been sold already. They talked him into another vehicle. Shortly, thereafter, they called him, insisting that he return the vehicle or they were they were going to report it stolen. They are now telling him that they cannot give him his down payment back. The car has now been reported stolen, and my son who happens to be a veteran, has a vehicle he cannot drive. Bad business I would not do business with this company. More
STAY AWAY! ! Absolutely the biggest dumpster fire of a dealer run by lying thieves who will say ANYTHING to sell the car/get you out of the door. End result? Tak ! Taking delivery a pile of garbage back to MA with no title / registration for well over a month, not following through and honoring the “we owe you” form (illegal by the way), a front diff on the way out, a dead accessory battery ($1300 dealer only item), mismatch bald tires, an empty gas tank (oh…but Kelvin offered to put $5 in for me on my way out….wow…) and falsified information not disclosing a vehicle was a repo (not on the CarFax they printed for me to sign until after taking delivery of the vehicle). Mr. Man Purse Kelvin is about as useful as fire underwater (with several court cases against him as the salesperson alluding to falsifying information/misleading consumers, yet the owner Dairon continues to have this high-risk seat warmer running around). Nathan Rojas…I think he’s the Finance Manager? I don't understand how he's employed...he doesn't have an accurate answer to anything, lies through his teeth, will say anything to get you off the phone and is just as misleading and deceitful as the rest of the staff (can’t tell you the number of times my title/registration was “overnighted” before he owned up to flat out lying)...the epitome of the statement "over promise and under deliver". Dairon (the owner)? MIA...he is incapable of answering an email, getting involved or taking accountability for his unethical team of employees/business practices. Everyone in this place is like a chicken running around that just got their head cut off. It’s mind boggling, incredibly frustrating and the tiniest bit humorous at the same time. No idea how this place can possibly operate with such a low cumulative IQ!!!! After over 150 calls into Freehold Mitsubishi to follow up on several deliverables, I traded the X7 out (after finally getting it registered once they had a repo title to send to the DMV) for another vehicle at a reputable dealer, unfortunately having to eat the cost of the $3k "we owe" item Freehold refused to honor. The positive reviews on here? Most are from the staff working for the dealer and their peers. Go ahead…crosscheck some of the names on all dealer review platforms!! There’s soooooo many employees “so happy with their purchase and experience” from Freehold Mitsubishi (clearly not a coincidence). This place should’ve been shut down a long time ago. A few more lawsuits and someone will take them out of business. TRUST the real reviews on here. They won’t be 5 stars. RUN, don’t walk away from this dealership. You’ll thank the honest ones on here. This company deserves no rating. We are trying to obtain a title from a vehicle a customer traded with our dealership, but the vehicle was never registered by FREEHOLD MITSUBISHI. There is no communication. I have been trying to reach someone to talk to I was told the manager is the only person that can help me. I have left messages and called multiple times. Still no assistance. Now when I call the calls are just dropped. The salesman George is who handled the sale and he has not answered the phone since the initial call and now is forwarded my calls as well. Why is this "franchised" dealership not registering customers vehicle especially after receiving payments from financial instructions to do so. Looking at other reviews this dealership may need to be investigated and possibly shut down. They is surely some shady business going on here. I am also going to make a report with the state of New Jersey, local news, the used car board, social media platforms, local police etc. More
*Beware* Do not trust Freehold (NJ) Mitsubishi! As of today, my husband and I have been waiting for 4 months to get a list of items promised to us, resolved by the staff at this dealership., co As of today, my husband and I have been waiting for 4 months to get a list of items promised to us, resolved by the staff at this dealership., completely unacceptable. We live in PA and bought a car on 4/16/24 from Freehold Mitsubishi (4020 US-9 S, NJ) and will never use their services ever again! Within a few days of purchase, we informed our sales rep (George) of what was missing/what needed to be addressed. He assured us that he or his staff would help and we looked forward to a resolution. My husband and I continued to ask George via group chat but his responses were always to ask the manager (Nathan)…as if he was not a licensed rep. Weeks passed by, messages were left, no response or even a call back. By mid May, I was begging daily for the car registration so I could stop driving around with it. I had to get a copy of the payoff to help THEM get my old loan paid off! No reason why but they never paid off the loan from my traded-in in April so my husband and I incurred a negative 30-day late payment with all 3 bureaus for May 2024, no apologies. Nothing. We were told several times that the car included a 3yr/36k mile warranty…the whole reason to buy this car with this dealer…nope, it was never included in the deal! George doesn’t know what happened, Nathan never returned my calls about it. Finally my husband was able to chat with Nathan directly by phone, expressed his concerns, again promised a call back…that was over 30 days ago. My husband and I both work full time jobs and provide support to our 2 disabled children every day. We do not have the means to run back and forth to NJ just to get a response or someone who will help. We’ve provided all that was asked of us but did not receive the same in return. We REALLY hope the lack of response/concern has nothing to do with our race as an African American family because that would be unfortunate. The best service one can receive is when unexpected issues get resolved and done with respect. I purposely waited to post my review just to give this business a chance to make things right. Poor service and management; would not recommend. More
