This was by far the best experience my wife and I have ever experienced purchasing a vehicle. I had done a lot of research on other Honda dealerships in the area - but not once did those other dealers giv ever experienced purchasing a vehicle. I had done a lot of research on other Honda dealerships in the area - but not once did those other dealers give us the attention that Breakaway Honda did. The customer service was well beyond what one would expect from a visit to a dealership. The sales agent we worked with was friendly, curtius, and not once did he push us to buy a car. We made numerous visits to Breakaway,checking out new and used cars. And every visit was the same - we always left happy. Saying that I recommend Ted Kaufman and Breakaway Honda as your place to purchase your next vehicle. We have had our minivan (which rocks) for almost 700 miles now and Breakaway has called us several times to check up and make sure everything is ok. If that is not good service than I don't know what is!!!! More

I drove from the Charlotte, NC area to purchase a 2010 Pilot from Breakaway on December 22nd because of the great up-front service that I received before the sale. I talked to Robert on a Friday and told him what color I was looking for; they didn't have that color in stock and he said he would locate one and get it to his lot as soon as possible. The following Monday (3 days later!) he called and had the vehicle ready. Can't expect any more than that! More

Dan Thompson was extremely supportive and helpful during the test driving/finding the right model phase. On December 10th, my husband & I walked into Breakaway Honda not really expecting to buy a new car. I just wanted to see the new 2010 CRV's & see what kind of deal they might offer me on my 2007 CRV. Davi Honda not really expecting to buy a new car. I just wanted to see the new 2010 CRV's & see what kind of deal they might offer me on my 2007 CRV. David Hagan met me at the door, was friendly, knowledgeable & didn't have a 'pushy' sales attitude. We decided to test drive the 2010 CRV & were impressed with how much easier it handled. When we returned I was able to work up a deal that I could afford. We were introduced to others on the Breakaway Honda team also. My overall experience was pleasant & hassle free. I would definitely recommend Breakaway Honda to my friends. I didn't know buying a new car could be so simple. More

I don't buy cars very often (had my previous car 10 years and the one before that 13), so I don't have a lot of experience at buying new cars. I feel uneasy about the process, and that's why I'm not rating the overall experience and price as a 5. Bud Fitzpatrick was very courteous, not at all pushy, and I believe that he (and the dealership) offered a good price. The price was pretty close to what I thought it should be, and I didn't try to negotiate them down (and that's my problem) so the way I feel is probably my own fault. On the other hand, if they had come in with a higher price initially, maybe I would have negotiated them down to what they offered and I would have felt better. Another factor (again possibly reflecting my lack of experience at car buying) was all the "extras" that they try to see you - exterior protection, prepaid package for routine service, etc. When you're paying tens of thousands of dollars for a car, it doesn't feel good when they want you to spend another couple of thousand. That's a dealership problem, I imagine. But all in all it was a very good experience. They had the car ready in a couple of hours and I was able to drive it home the same day. More
We live on exit 1 and had such a good experience purchasing our 2008 Civic that we decided to come back to look at a CRV. We were not sure whether we would buy one or not, but the no hassle deal and helpfulness of both Bud and the Sales Manager (who's name escapes me) made buying the CRV the natural move. Bud allowed us plenty of time to comb over and drive 3 different vehicles late in the day on a freezing night and ran numbers (when everybody, no doubt, would rather be at home) on all of the vehicles so we we could make the best decision for our family. It was very low pressure and they were both very straightforward and gave us the info we needed. I am a raving fan of Breakaway Honda and would definitely recommend Bud and Breakaway to anyone. More
