Recommended $1500 worth of work for a working part I went to Frank Brown with a power steering leak, and was told I’d need the entire power steering rack replaced ($1000-$1500 depending on who you ask) I went to Frank Brown with a power steering leak, and was told I’d need the entire power steering rack replaced ($1000-$1500 depending on who you ask). I called around to other mechanics to get a second opinion and was told by another place that all I needed were new O-rings (<$100), not a whole rack. My power steering system was otherwise completely fine. Stay away!! More

They told me it would be an hour and a half wait time - they did everything I need in less than an hour, I had to have my car serviced and inspected.
