From the moment I walked into Fort Mill Hyundai to the moment I left I was treated with respect. I have done plenty of reviews on Hyundai's themselves and so I knew I liked the car but I didn't think the moment I left I was treated with respect. I have gone to a few used places in the area as well as another dealership (Nissan of Rock Hill) and did not get treated like I did at Fort Mill Hyundai. I gave perfect reviews in all areas above with good reason. As far as customer service goes I was greeted with a smile from everyone and nobody spoke down to me like a lot of car places tend to do. From the salesman, to the general manager, right to the finance department everybody really seemed willing to help and make sure I was going to get the car I wanted the price I could afford. I really do recommend this dealership to anyone interested in getting a new/used car as I had a great experience. If the car holds up like the reputation of a Hyundai I will no doubt be back to do business with them in the future. More
I met with Carlos with two basic criteria: I wanted a vehicle large enough to carry around my dogs and musical equipment, but I didn't want to go backwards with my gas mileage. I had been to all the Hyundai dealerships in Charlotte, Monroe, Gastonia and Hickory looking to buy a 2012 Sonata SE. By going to all the prior dealerships I had a general idea of what I was looking at fro Monroe, Gastonia and Hickory looking to buy a 2012 Sonata SE. By going to all the prior dealerships I had a general idea of what I was looking at from a price standpoint. When I went to Fort Mill Hyundai I was greeted by a salesman named George Freeman. I told him that we were looking for the SE model in Indigo blue and we found the car on the lot. It was the exact same car we had seen at a few other dealerships. One thing I noticed right away was the price. All of the other dealers we had looked at the prices ranged from 25500-27000. The sticker price here was 24700. Included in this was tinted widows which no other dealers offered and it had 18 inch alloy wheels not the 16 inch stocks tires and rims.. After we drove the car we sat down to negotiate a price. When it was all said and done George and the sales manager Greg Armstrong gave us a price we could not turn down. We ended with a price under 24000. That included all of the extended warranties, and maintenance for the 10 years 100k miles and all sales taxes. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new or used car.. More

My experience with Fort Mill Hyundai was pleasant, both times. I first purchased a 2007 Santa Fe from Macklin and 6 months later returned to purchase my second used Santa Fe from him. He worked very hard, times. I first purchased a 2007 Santa Fe from Macklin and 6 months later returned to purchase my second used Santa Fe from him. He worked very hard, sometimes becoming obviously frustrated with his managers to give me the deal I needed. Of course, as expected there were things that he could not offer per the managers, but I was impressed with his efforts and sincere determination to please me. I have been pleased with the service and continued effort to maintain my satisfaction. More
My girlfriend had been speaking with a salesman named Carlos for a few days about getting a new GLS Sonata and explained the payment needed to be less than $280. Carlos than said this could be done at which point we explained to Carlos we only wanted to come to the dealership if we could purchase a new Sonata GLS with a payment of $280 or less and didn't want to go there if that wasn't going to be done. Carlos said he understood and to come to the dealership. My girlfriend drove to the dealership and Carlos told her he didn't have the car she wanted on the lot and than tried to talk her into leasing a different car!!!!! His blatant lies were extremely rude and disrespectful. Please save yourself the time and hassle of dealing with this car dealership and Carlos and AVOID them altogether. More
This dealership practices the most unethical business methods I have every witnessed. They reeled me in with the spot delivery. Allowing me to take the vehicle home, put insurance on it, and promised tin methods I have every witnessed. They reeled me in with the spot delivery. Well, when I called back for tinted windows 12 days later, I was told that the loan fell through by Matt and the car would have to be brought back or an additional 1500 down payment would be necessary. I have hired an attorney & prepared to fight this until the end. This is what they refer to as the "yo yo" scam. The spot delivery is when they allow a consumer to drive a car off the lot under the assumption that all loose ends were tied; only to find out that this was the "spot delivery" in action. They have sent me all types of threatening letters & lawsuits. I feel they owe me restitution as I sold my "paid off" vehicle under the allusion that I had signed legitimate contracts giving me ownership of the Sonata. I am willing to go to court as I have all of my paperwork in order & the comments made by Matt, who by the way, has since been fired.Hmmmmm; wonder why? I would not encourage my worse enemy to deal with these sharks. More
