Lies. Plain and simple, I have never been lied to so many times in my life. My wife and I saw a van online so we called about it. The salesman said the Plain and simple, I have never been lied to so many times in my life. My wife and I saw a van online so we called about it. The salesman said the driver's seat had a burn mark in it so obviously we asked if the previous owner smoked. We were told he didn't think so and the van didn't smell like smoke at all(lie). So we drove an hour to cookeville. Upon arrival another salesman told us immediately that the previous owner was a smoker, but it didn't smell too bad. It smelled bad. The car also had a vibration while test driving it. My wife is pregnant and we have a 2 year old, so a smoked in car is a no no. The salesman told us numerous times that they could treat it and it would smell perfect, and that changing the in cabin filter would help as well. We agreed to the sale pending the smoke treatment, cabin filter change, and alignment fix. The salesman told us he saw the van being treated for smoke that afternoon. The next day he told us, the van smells amazing and there wasn't a hint of smoke(lie). The van was delivered to us smelling more like smoke than before. I called back and our salesman was unavailable. Left a message. I got a call back from "Louis" who said that "drivers left 45 minutes ago(lie) and should be almost there to pick up the van". He said that they obviously didn't do the treatment(so someone lied) or it wasn't done properly. He also told me he would make sure they changed the in cabin filter. 3 hours later I got a call from the drivers saying they had just gotten the call and were on their way. The van was delivered the next day, way after they said it would be delivered. And it smelled better, but not great. So I checked the in cabin filter, guess what, it was old and very dirty. Louis swore to me that he had no idea why his service guy would lie to him about having changed the filter, so I had to take it to a shop and have them change it. To their small credit, they paid for that to be done, which was also a hassle. I told him that if they hadn't bothered to change a $20 filter, why would I believe they did anything else. He said he would immediately email me the receipt of the alignment fix. 2 weeks later and many emails later, I still have no such proof. And the van still has the vibration while driving. This dealer has no desire to actually make their customers happy. They simply told me things had been fixed, and didn't think I would know how to check and in cabin air filter. Feel free to buy a car here, just know what you are getting into. More
We had an awesome experience buying our 2014 Mustang! We just had to come here to the Ford website to tell you of our great experience buying our 2014 Mustang! My husband has trouble being on a car lot We just had to come here to the Ford website to tell you of our great experience buying our 2014 Mustang! My husband has trouble being on a car lot and on this day he decided to go elsewhere while I looked around at cars. Dallas Edwards, our salesman was completely understanding of this and went out of his way to make my search for a car the best possible. After listening to me describe what I liked and didn't, had me test drive 2 cars I absolutely fell in love with! He encouraged me to take my time and go meet my husband to show him each car.. Well, our Mustang was the winner! There was no pressure when we decided to think on it over the weekend and by Monday morning we could hardly wait! Luis Anguiano answered our call and made it possible to get what paperwork he could get done to make our final sales signing as easy as possible! Jake Pineda, another sales associate was there to greet us... He was kind and so gracious going over the sales with my husband, making him feel right at home even offering us pizza for lunch. Then we went in to see Ray Moyer, the financial director and he and my husband hit it off right from the start even cracking jokes! Ray had a bank in mind that had a lower interest rate than we found over the weekend on our own. We were thrilled! He also recommended a great extended warranty plan so we are covered and very excited about that we have a great place to come if needed. The service Dept was flowing smoothly and very clean.. They were even mopping the floors there. I was told I could bring my car for a wash anytime! All in all, we highly recommend Ford Lincoln of Cookeville! Our last experience buying a truck at Nissan was NOT so good and even embarrassing! Thanks to all of you at Ford! We look forward to coming in again maybe even just to visit with a car wash! More
DISASTER!!!!!! On December 16, 2015, my wife and I purchased a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox from this place, we paid cash of more than $8,500.00, and they didn't even have On December 16, 2015, my wife and I purchased a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox from this place, we paid cash of more than $8,500.00, and they didn't even have the title to the vehicle. It's now February 12, 2016 and almost 60 calendar days have past since we made the purchase, we STILL DON'T EVEN HAVE A LICENSE TAG, can't drive the vehicle because we're told they can't issue more than 2 temp tags. We're lied to repeatedly by these people. I've never, in my 53 years, ever encountered such genuine lack of interest in customer satisfaction, such genuine incompetence but these folks simply do not give a xxxx! Their "customer care" rep named Lisa, she talks a good game about wanting to under promise and over deliver but then she wants to pass the buck and lay blame elsewhere but then she wont even return your calls. BUYER BEWARE!!!!, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I'm contacting Ford and filing a complain too. This place is the kind of place that gives car dealers a bad name!!!!! More

Used 2009 Subaru I purchased a Subaru Forrester from you a couple of weeks ago, and firstly wanted to thank you for selling me a used vehicle in such bad condition. 2 I purchased a Subaru Forrester from you a couple of weeks ago, and firstly wanted to thank you for selling me a used vehicle in such bad condition. 20 minutes after I left the TPMS system malfunctioned which the Subaru dealership has yet to be able to fix, so you guys had to have just reset it before delivery. Way worse than that about 5 miles from home it started misfiring so bad I barely made it home. I had to replace plugs, plug wires and the ignition coil. The plugs were of no doubt original as they were worn down to nubs leaving a gap 3 times what should be so your 120 or whatever point inspection process is crap. Barring all that you as well as the finance guy told me you would attempt to contact previous owner to inquire about the timing belt maintenance. At the very least I would have expected an email or call saying you couldn't gets hold of them even if it was a lie, instead I have heard nothing. I understand the vehicle had been marked down as well as I got some extra taken off as it could not be determined about the status if the timing belt. The issue is this vehicle was supposedly "inspected" and if the spark plugs were not even checked then I highly doubt anything else was. Again thank you for selling me a such a piece of junk. -John Allen More
"BUYERS BEWARE" On October 24, 2015 we purchased a 2012 Ford F350 Dually with 96,230 miles. It was approximately 7:30 or 8:00 pm when we finally drove off the lot. On October 24, 2015 we purchased a 2012 Ford F350 Dually with 96,230 miles. It was approximately 7:30 or 8:00 pm when we finally drove off the lot. The dealership had agreed to fix the cracked windshield for us which took approximately 1 1/2 weeks to install. We purchased the Perma Plate coating ($ 700.00); First Mile Maintenance Plan Plus ($ 1,700.00); BaseCARE Extended Warranty ($ 2,800.00) to ensure that we would covered if anything were to happen to the truck. We were told that the truck had been through your service department (new oil, new oil filter and that everything was working properly and "good to go"). We drove off the lot at night and about eight of the running lights on the truck were not working. We called our salesman, Anthony Morgan and he asked the Used Car Manager if he would replace them and we were told "NO". After about a week and a half we were called to come down and replace the windshield. At that time we showed Anthony Morgan that the interior of the vehicle had about an inch of dust of the dashboard this meaning there was no way that the service department had Perma Plate the vehicle. Anthony Morgan personally took to the truck to service and had them redo the truck. In which we were thankful. When we picked the truck up the next day, the check engine light was on. Brad in service came out and had a Ford mechanic bring his tester, "something with the air flow", Brad replaced the air filter for us that was extremely dirty. At that time he mentioned did we know anything about the newer diesels exhaust system, we stated "NO". He explained that if the "cleaning exhaust service light comes on that we had to keep driving the truck until the cleaning process is finished. He stated that it would last approximately 20 to 30 minutes. We said "Thank you and that we would make sure and do that". The check engine went off. Within two days, the check engine light was on again. My wife brought the truck in on Tuesday, November 18th to get an oil change and to check to see what the check engine light was on for again. We also requested a check the back passenger two tires because their was a bouncing action. Eric called at 11:30 and said that the bouncing of the tires was probably due to the six new Firestone tires we had purchased in Clark Range, TN. We stated that we would go back to Kent's Tire Company and deal with that situation. Eric then informed my wife that the EGR value on the exhaust cleaning system was clogged and the entire cleaning system needed to be cleaned. This was going to cost $ 1,400.00. My wife stated that we had purchased the extended warranty and maintenance warranty that it should be covered. Eric informed her that it was not going to be covered. We went back to the dealership and talked to Layne in Finance and Ryan in service and asked if there was anyway the dealership could take care of this due to the fact that we had been told everything was fine. Layne and Ryan both requested that we not trade it at Cookeville Honda until they we were able to talk to Lewis the next day. We agreed. Eric called my wife and left a message on the 18th, I called Eric back and he informed me that this repair was not covering to be covered by the warranties or the dealership. It saddened me that this is how they chose to deal with this situation. Like my wife told Bud, "if the check engine light had been on, your dealership would have fixed the problem or we would not have purchased this truck". My wife has emailed Mike Petrello, General Manager of Cookeville Ford Lincoln on the November 18 explaining the situation and requesting if any assistance could be provided. We have purchased three vehicles in the past year, (2015 Ford Escape; 2015 Ford Mustang; and 2012 Ford F350). I would hope that your dealership would want to save this relationship. More
Problems with the vehicle after a few months I bought a vehicle a few months ago and it all started with the salesman. They played the game of going back and fourth and finally told me they would I bought a vehicle a few months ago and it all started with the salesman. They played the game of going back and fourth and finally told me they would meet my terms. When I went to sign the paperwork, I looked at the purchase amount and they had not met my terms. They tried to slide it by me. I purchased the vehicle after having to haggle more. I purchased the extended warranty. When I went to leave the vehicle was on empty and I was told they don't fill up used vehicles. A month later the seat controller fell off and what a supreme it was not covered. I now am having engine problems and it will probably not be covered. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership again More
