I purchased a vehicle from Leslee Parsons, the most knowledgable and professional vehicle salesperson that I have ever encountered. Leslee listened carefully to my needs,then took me out to see the Toyoto Sienna and explained all of the features. Leslee had me out test driving the vehicle within about 15 minutes of meeting with her. I told her of my interest in both the Odyssey and Sienna, and Leslee strongly encouraged me to test drive both vehicles back-to-back, so that I would have a clear feel and comparison for each vehicle. Leslee is located at the Brown Toyota dealership in Pantops, but is able to cross-sell other Brown vehicles. With her encouragement, I drove the Toyota over to the Honda dealership on Rt 29 and test drove both the 2010 and 2011 Odyssey, which had just arrived the day before. Leslee was so knowledgable about all aspects of all three of these cars. I was so impressed with the detailed knowledge from how the engine works... to how to set the customized driver features. She definitely takes her job seriously and spends time learning about the vehicles. She told me that she loves machines and it shows. I was especially impressed because she typically sells Toyota vehicles, but she knew more than any salesperson I have ever dealt with about all of the cars. I had already stopped at the Honda dealership the previous day and told the salesman that I was interested in looking at the Sienna as well. This particular salesman told me that I had to go across town to find out about the Toyota. The salesman proceeded to tell me that the Honda van was the one to get. He was not listening to my needs and letting me make up my own mind. Well, I later learned that this salesperson could have sold me a Toyota, but wasn't interested. When I originally left the Honda dealership, I was on the telephone dealing with Rule Honda in Staunton because I was not impressed with my initial visit. I had purchased my last vehicle at Rule because of the same type of impression when I made an initial visit. Fortunately, I ended up visiting Brown Toyota on Pantops and meeting Leslee who spent the better part of the next two days patiently, kindly, professionally,and knowledgably dealing with me on the sale. Leslee truly wanted me to make the right decision for me, and she was not opionated about either car...she just shared the facts and let me discover was suited me best. I am thrilled with my purchase and would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Leslee Parsons for your Brown vehicle purchases. I have never felt the desire to recommend any vehicle salesperson that I have dealt with and I usually don't post on these forums, but this vehicle transaction was so remarkably different than any other car buying experience that I have had that I wanted to share this experience. Our 1 year old Honda Element has paint bubbling up all over hood & roof. I was told it was "environmental", but am confused that the severe paint reaction didn't happen to any of the other 3 cars in the d over hood & roof. After weeks of run around, we go in for a "comp'd" buff & wax. Comp'd was defined by only 40% off, but not too upset as it was only $60. We go out to pick up the Element and it was dirty. They didn't wash it before waxing and it had sprays of wax all over it. Run lines of some type of liquid ran along the bottom. More shocking - the top of the vehicle had not been washed, waxed, or buffed!! I refused to take the car home. I strongly urge anyone thinking about taking their cars here to either go to another dealership OR be crystal clear that you expect the work to actually be done! Unbelievable to spend $60 on a buff & wax and they neither wash the car, nor do the roof. It should be no shock that their reputation is what it is... More

The car we wanted was on their lot, and if it hadn't been, Kim was going to get one from another dealer. In the end, we were very pleased with our whole experience at Brown's Honda and will highly recommend it to our friends, especially to do business with Kim David Cross. More

The rest of the purchasing experience followed this trend: excellent, timely follow-up, both before the purchase and after; very informative about financing; salesman knew which models were immediately available; they were willing to negotiate price. I brought the car back a couple of weeks later to have splash guards and xylon (sp?) applied, and the service people were excellent - polite, friendly, quick. I'd had previous unpleasant interactions with their service department, and was very pleasantly surprised that my experience with all facets of this dealership have been very good this time around. More

Brown Honda deserves the highest rating for customer satisfaction. In 2007, I bought my Honda Accord there. I'm very happy with the car. And very pleased with their service. The first time, about 8 months ago, though I was several months behind in my service plan, Brown Honda never took back its good will. They welcomed me back into their "Tires for Life" program. They serviced my car and gave me four new tires for free. I was astonished! The second time, on a busy Saturday, I saw when I started the car that my rear tire had caught a nail and was going flat. I stopped at a local gas station, put some air in the tire; then I called Brown Honda service and they urged me to bring the car in immediately. They fixed the flat tire--the job done in 20 minutes. Again, I was very pleased. In the third instance, on Sunday, my original car battery, after three years, went dead. AAA replaced the battery, but in order for the radio to work, I needed a special code to be noted in the car's computer. When I called Brown Honda, Michelle, the customer service rep., said if we were able enter the code by phone instruction, there would be no charge, but if I brought the car in for service, Brown would have to charge me $27. We couldn't put it in by phone. I full expected to pay the $27 fee--no big deal. But again Brown exceeded my expectations. When I brought the car to Brown, Tina Smith, the Customer Service Rep., realized that I was in a big hurry to get to work. She quickly got Anthony, a mechanic at Brown, with a very professional and pleasant demeanor, to help. In minutes he put the code in my car's computer--without a $27 fee-- and I was on my way to work with enough time left to stop for a coffee. Really great service. Many thanks to you all! More

Great group of folks. You would have to go a long way to beat this dealer in quality, service and price. This is my second car with this dealer. I would highly recommend to others.
