I'm an avid new car leaser/buyer. I tend to have a new car every two years. I'm a loyal customer; however, the dealership and car maker must earn my business. Before choosing Honda recently, I was with car every two years. I'm a loyal customer; however, the dealership and car maker must earn my business. Before choosing Honda recently, I was with another dealership/car maker for ten years! The customer service at that dealership was tops; however, the car maker just didn't have the vehicle I wanted/needed anymore. Therefore, the search was on! I did my research. I went to several dealerships and looked at several makes/models of vehicles. I literally saved the best for last when I went to Findlay Honda! Darrell Hetke, my salesperson was very nice and thorough. He didn't take for granted I new anything about vehicles, especially Hondas. When it came down to numbers, he wasn't pushy. In fact, I asked to speak to the sales manager because I knew exactly what deal I wanted to make and didn't want to go back and forth putting Darrell in the middle. I spoke to Kevin Vanetta. He only gave me a little bit of a hard time; however, it was all in fun. He surrendered because he knew I'd be back when my lease was up. Next was the paperwork! Luckily, Eddie Tomes was there (I knew him from the dealership I moved from, we had both made the switch). Anyway, Eddie went over my deal with me, made me feel confident I had a solid deal, and even told me about the maintenance plan available (which is a great deal and worry-free). Which vehicle did I purchase? The Honda Pilot. It had the extra room I needed and the style I wanted. Two co-workers of mine each have one; and, when it came down to making the choice, there was no contest. I came in at the end of a lease to purchase the vehicle. I was first told the "payoff amount", which was higher than the amount on the lease contract. Then I was told that I had to pay a $995 "inspection f I was first told the "payoff amount", which was higher than the amount on the lease contract. Then I was told that I had to pay a $995 "inspection fee". When I pointed out that a inspection was not required when purchasing the vehicle I was told this was a new dealership fee. Translation: dealership wants some cash. I worked the inspection fee down to an amount more reasonable for the work. The sales man did not set up the appointment as promised, and when I did show up for my "inspection" the service writer was at a loss as for what to do. I left - I got ripped off and I'm not playing along any more. They may have made a few bucks, but they lost a customer. I'm not going back. More

These guys are swindling bottom feeding con artists. The lowest of the low. Please stay away from this dealer. I bought a car with two dings in it, when I tried to return it they played dumb. I had to call Honda's corporate headquarters to get them to give me another car. Alex sold me the car, so stay away from him. All of his colleagues are dirt bags as well. It seems as if they're making plans in the back offices trying to scheme up ways to bend people over and take as much money as they can. Be aware of their silly warranty offers as well. The funniest thing about this situation is one of the dirt bags claimed to be Christian. I wonder what God will say to him on judgment day. More
