They clearly outlined the options available to us regarding the lease trade-in program, the car itself, and what the different lease options would cost us. On top of all that, they gave us a great deal on the car. More

I was met with smiling faces and given a run-down of exactly what was being done and the price so there would be no surprises. People at the front desk were efficient and knowledgeable. My family has purchased many cars from this dealership and will continue to do so. More

Superb Experience Mitch was very welcoming & cordial when we entered the dealership. My wife and I had researched and informed ourselves quite a bit before going in to Mitch was very welcoming & cordial when we entered the dealership. My wife and I had researched and informed ourselves quite a bit before going in to meet Mitch and he was immediately on the same page with us. We were given a fair Out the Door price on a new Outback, a very good fair trade value for our used Outback and a very reasonable APR. The whole experience was pleasant and quick. Thanks Mitch for your professionalism & conversation and thanks Jim for a rapid financial close. More
Finally, a dealership that treats you like an actual human After shopping at other Subaru dealerships, it was so nice to walk in and be welcomed at Exeter Subaru. I was able to tell Ann what I was looking for After shopping at other Subaru dealerships, it was so nice to walk in and be welcomed at Exeter Subaru. I was able to tell Ann what I was looking for, and as an informed shopper, I had done my research. There was no back and forth with shady numbers behind closed doors. They were up-front and honest, and were able to meet me where I wanted to be. It was an easy, straightforward experience...I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a Subaru! More

The process was straight forward and communication was clear, there were no "surprises". Eileen was great too, and friendly. She had all the paperwork ready to go and communicated the sales details clearly. However I wish the dealership would allow you to opt out of hearing all of the extended warranty and protection plans. I would prefer to have a "decline all" option so I don't have to sit through the presentation knowing I would decline all. It's annoying. More
Helpful and friendly After terrible experiences elsewhere, where no one described the vehicles features or shook our hands, Subaru was a breath of fresh air! Helpful, poli After terrible experiences elsewhere, where no one described the vehicles features or shook our hands, Subaru was a breath of fresh air! Helpful, polite, informative; exactly what you want when buying a car! They got me in the car I wanted for a good price and I never felt pressured to do something I wasn’t comfortable with. I will be back, even if I have to drive 20 minutes further than my local Subaru. More
Very Professional and QUick Service Lisa (service) and Joe (technician) were very helpful in getting me in right away for a safety inspection. I didn't even have time to read a magazine Lisa (service) and Joe (technician) were very helpful in getting me in right away for a safety inspection. I didn't even have time to read a magazine in the awesome customer lounge (nice snacks). I highly recommend Exeter Subaru. More
Discriminatory, rude, uncaring, arrogant, incompetent! When I took my car in, they offered to detail and clean it for a fee. I said yes, but later they called me and said their employees absolutely refuse When I took my car in, they offered to detail and clean it for a fee. I said yes, but later they called me and said their employees absolutely refused to clean it. I have to stress here that my car was NOT super dirty! There were a few fast food bags and various harmless items in the back seat, but nothing that could not be easily thrown away or put aside for a few minutes. But, nope! They claimed their employee simply refused to do it. I was stunned and couldn't figure out why. It's not as if the car was full of stinky garbage or medical waste or anything. They tried to make every excuse possible, at one point saying there were "bloody bandages" (i.e., on old band-aid), said that they couldn't throw trash away because "we might throw something valuable away by accident" (I asked if the employee could not tell the difference between a hamburger wrapper and a computer monitor). At one point they said the employee was "afraid he might find needles", as if I was some kind of junkie! I offered to pay a little more - no deal. I said I would sign a waiver stating that it was not their fault if something got lost (which I assume is already in their policies). Nope, nothing doing. They had no actual reason, just that the employee simply refused to do it and they were not going to make him do his job. I asked what, specifically, was in there that this guy wouldn't touch - no response. They flat-out refused to force the employee to do his job, backed him 100%, claimed they had no one else who could do it, and basically told me to f--- off because they didn't give a xxxx what I thought. I was both super angry and completely mystified - why would someone refuse to do their job so adamantly for no reason? I only figured it out when I picked up the car and turned on the radio. It was tuned to a super-conservative talk radio station, the kind with endless ranting and shouting about gay people, abortion, godless liberals or whatever. And then it occurred to me: my car has some pretty prominent sights that I'm not only an atheist but a liberal. It made perfect sense - the cleaning guy didn't want to clean the car of a godless liberal like me. And they were too spineless to force him, probably fearing some kind of religious discrimination suit. To make matters worse, they were not at all sorry or apologetic. At every level (and I got up to the regional manager) the response was universally uncaring. No one said "Sorry", no one expressed sympathy or any kind of regret at all. The whole time the attitude was "he doesn't want to do it so he doesn't have to do it, we don't give a xxxx if you don't like it, just go jump in a lake." The whole attitude was just shrugs and "yeah, whatever." Due to the complete lack of customer care I received, I have a theory that perhaps the people who own the dealership are also super-conservative. Oh, and while it was in there, someone stole my very expensive super-fast-charging USB phone charger. I guess it wasn't too dirty to steal from! Then, a week later, the car started having the exact same transmission problem that I had brought it in for originally. So their repairs sucked, too. Arrogance AND incompetence! To get it re-fixed again I took it to another Subaru dealer. Also, since much of the work had been either under warranty or due to a recall, they tried to upsell me with scare tactics about a few things that simply didn't need to be fixed, at outrageous prices. So, these people suck. They are dishonest, incompetent, and care far more about the whims of their employees than what their customers want. Avoid at all costs. More
