Since the purchase of my 2003 PT Cruiser from Baxter, their service dept has done all repairs. My Dodge Nitro needed the 48,000 service. I purchased the service contract when I purchased the car almost 4 years ago and did not realize that the last coupon which is for the 48,000 service had to be used service contract when I purchased the car almost 4 years ago and did not realize that the last coupon which is for the 48,000 service had to be used up by 48,075 miles. My car had 48,428 miles and was not sure it Baxter/Dodge would accept the coupon and since I had paid up front I did not want to pay again. Randy Hamling when to bat for me and Dodge accepted the coupon and all the work was done for No Charge. My car was even washed and dried and shining when I picked it up. Charlie made the buying experience very enjoyable. His friendly and relaxed manner made him easy to talk with and ask questions. After several negative experiences with the service/parts departments and management, Baxter has done enough to earn another chance for my business. Jason went far above and beyond what I expected when bringing in a late model used Chrysler Town & Country Limited, I had purchased from a privte party for service and a recall. Jason helped me with the navigation system and the bluetooth system by helping me set it up as well as explaining the operation to me. Jason also showed me how to operate and/or get to the third row electric sets, the telescoping control pedals, the storage under the floor in the second row, the operation of the rear windows, the operation of the windows in the electric sliding doors & sun shades and the location of the spare tire and jack. I have purchased or leased several vehicles from Baxter's over the years and I have to say Jason is one of the best representatives of Baxter's that I have had the privlege of working with. Both Randy and John have gone above and beyond what would normally be expected of them each time I have needed my vehicle serviced. On more than one occasion, both have offered great advice and have provided superb assistance. This includes accepting vehicles without an appointment and additionally fixing the problem free of charge while addressing an additional problem I was not aware of and fixing that free of charge as well. They have been helpful with assisting in replacing numerous warrantied parts, no questions asked. These two employees are great assets to what is already an excellent service department. Although I did not purchase my current vehicle from Baxter Chrysler, I will be hard pressed not to buy my next vehicle from this dealership based solely on the customer service I have received within the service department. More

A few years ago I was going to another Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Omaha for service because they were closer to my work and home. What a mistake that was. The service at Baxter has always been great. Even if there are several people in line, someone from the service desk will at least make an attempt to make eye contact and acknowledge you are there. I would still wait even if 100 people where in line. What I like best about the service department and people like Randy are they keep you updated and they listen. Thanks Randy and thanks Baxter. I was leaving my house for a doctor's appt. and discovered that I had locked my keys inside the van. My husband was out of town and had the second set of keys with him.
