Had vehicle for over 28 days waiting on a part Windshield had to be replaced due to something being wrong with the heater. My son left his car on January 2nd, it is now January 30. I called today Windshield had to be replaced due to something being wrong with the heater. My son left his car on January 2nd, it is now January 30. I called today and spoke with Alex the Service Director, and advised him that my son shouldn't have to pay for the rental car for over a month because it was not his fault they couldn't get the correct windshield. He told me that it is Corporate's fault and I could call an attorney or anyone I wanted to there was nothing he could do about my son having to pay for a rental car when to me it is clearly the company's fault. He gave me a number to call for the General Motors Customer Assistance to see what they could do for me. I told him for good customer service he would have offered or already done that. He is on the Hwy 280 in Birmingham Alabama location service department. After speaking with someone else was told he did not have to pay for the rental car, but would have to speak with General Motors about the deductible. They finally put in an aftermarket windshield, the problem was where the windshield was coming from the windshield in the box was different from the one ordered 3 different times. Ben has been very good to my son, but my son is still dealing with General Motors concerning the deductible. More
