We were very sorry to hear that Mr. Bukovicky did not have a good experience while visiting our dealership. I spoke to him personally while he was here, and did my absolute best to explain the national Chevy Volt lease offer for October (as it changes monthly), which was a $250 per month lease payment with $5,000 due at signing by the customer. The cash due at signing is disclosed in the national advertising, and in order to get to that $250 per month payment, there must be $5,000 paid by the customer at signing. The lease price (also known as Cap Cost) we quoted him was $9,500 below MSRP for the Volt he was interested in. But again, even at such a large discount off of MSRP as well as an extremely low interest rate, without the necessary cash due at signing from Mr. Bukovicky there is simply no way to achieve a $250 per month lease payment on a new Chevy Volt. Our sincere apologies Ms. St. Clair for the long wait for such a simple maintenance item like a state inspection. As my service manager Tom Pearson mentioned to you during your conversation with him, the large GM recall that we are currently in the midst of has created a very difficult situation for us that we continue to work through every day. The good news is that we have hired additional people that are only doing recall-related work, such as a recall customer relations specialist who will be the initial point of contact for all recall customers. Taking so much of the recall workload off of our service advisors and technicians has really enabled us to speed up the overall time that it takes to complete these normal maintenance and repair items. My apologies also for not contacting you sooner after returning from my vacation. Mr. Pearson and I were actually in contact about your complaint while I was on vacation, but he and I must have miscommunicated and nobody contacted you until the following week, which is unacceptable. We appreciate you accepting the two free oil changes that we offered you for your inconvenience, and we hope that you will come see us again soon so we can work toward earning back your business. Our apologies to this customer that we were not able to duplicate the no start issue on his truck. With regard to our $108 per hour labor rate, it is actually very competitive, not only when compared to other dealers but also to independent repair shops. We charge 3% of the labor to cover shop supplies (also very competitive), which in this case was a little over $3. As always, we will continue to strive for 100% customer satisfaction. Sorry to all for such a long delay in responding to this review. As we discussed, and of course apologized for, during this customer's visit, we made multiple mistakes. We had accidentally included a $750 GM factory rebate in our quote that this customer didn't actually qualify for. Once we discovered that the customer did not qualify, we should have simply honored the net price immediately. This did not happen immediately, but at the time I was happy to hear that we ended up giving our customer this discount anyway. We then made another error on our buyer's order and erroneously added a $270 charge that should not have been there. As we explained to our customer, neither one of these was intentional by any means as we simply do not conduct business that way.
