DCH Academy Honda

Transaction took 5 hours - we were told after paperwork & cleaning our new vehicle we would be done in 2 or 3 hours. Salesman did not catch the fact that all the paperwork had the wrong VIN # . We were told that our trade in transaction HAD to take place that day (Saturday) even though we did not have the title with us - because the wholesaler wanted the car that day to export. Funny thing, our trade in is now for sale in their used car lot for more than $5000. more than we were given in trade. Our fault entirely for not holding out for more money. We did not appreciate being lied to. Next we moved onto the finance office where AGAIN the wrong VIN # was on all the papers we were being asked to sign. I had to point out the error once again!! At this point we just want to finish the transaction, empty out the trade in and go home in our new car. We have been at the dealer for 5 hours (2 hours longer than we intended) and have an appointment to go to. This is when the overview of your new car usually is done by the salesman so all the features of the new car are gone over. Our salesman did not even offer to do this for us. Even if we could not have stayed right then to do it, at least he could have offered to go over the new vehicle at another time convenient for us. This was the 4th Honda we purchased from Academy Honda beginning in 1997. This experience was not like any of the others. It left us wondering about the competence of the staff, especially our salesman who, himself, has been at Academy since the 1990's. More

This was one of the most honest Dealerships I have been to in a while. Paul and his manager's didn't waster my time and keep going back and forth for hours while trying to strike a deal for our new Honda CR-V. Within a short time I heard back from Mark who not only said he could locate one for me, gave me a price which was extremely reasonable. Much lower than I expected. I had a trade-in so he recommended I stop by and get it appraised. I stopped by a few days later and met Mark and Paul. Paul helped me get the price I was looking for on my trade, locate the vehicle I was looking for, and coordinate the installation of additional equipment so everything was ready when I picked up my vehicle. If you are in the market for a Honda, you MUST stop by Academy and see Paul. He and the whole team over there will treat you right, you will not waste your time. More
