After making an appointment, I dropped in to try to have my stereo and airbag warning light serviced. The stereo had mysteriously stopped working the week earlier after being on and off (no power at all) fo my stereo and airbag warning light serviced. The stereo had mysteriously stopped working the week earlier after being on and off (no power at all) for a couple of months. The service worker (not sure if it was Gustave although the photo looks familiar) didn't really seem interested in repairing it and told me that it would be about $500 to replace with a standard unit. Plus labor. I also asked about my airbag light - the wire connecting the passenger seat to the sensor was broken and they would not repair - they said they had to replace the entire unit - he was not sure the price but at least $1K. Well, I drove away and a week later the stereo started working again with no problems. I still have to find some other dealer or service dept to fix the airbag light - I am not paying $1000 to fix a warning light on a vehicle with 195,000 miles. I wish car manufacturers would realize that the service experience is part of the reason you buy their cars. I love the service dept of another Darcars outlet down the street and I am a lot likelier to buy a Nissan in the future because of them. Maybe things will change if Marchionne gets involved, and I would love to buy a new Jeep - but won't unless a local Jeep (/Dodge/Chrysler) dealer can provide better service. More
I really liked this dealership. Probably one of the fastest dealers I worked with. Car rides wonderful and also customer service was amazing. I would highly recommend them. I went in looking for a Compass and David was thoroughly knowledgeable and very informative about the car he was selling. I had a problem with my car and my mechanic could not fix. He said I would have to take it to a car dealership I just cringed because I knew it would cost more than I could afford. I took it to Darcars Chrysler in Rockville the people were so nice to me there even though I didn't buy my car there. They had my car for three days determined to help me. They fix the problem and I was very surprised that wasn't charges as much as I had thought. Once I can afforded a new car I would definitely go there first I appreciate all that they did for me and my piece of mind. More
Working with Ramin, Gary, and Morris was truly a pleasure. I was trading a 2012 Wrangler and purchasing a 2014 Wrangler. All three of them were friendly, funny, and professional. The minute I walked into the dealer I was greeted with a 'hello how may I help you today?"
