Without a doubt, Mr. Bailey has provided the best service. I like the concept of dealing with one particular service department gentleman each time I visit Liberty Toyota. I just happen to be the fortunate, Mr. Bailey is my serviceman. OUTSTANDING SUPPORT, if this gentleman is not the manager, he should be the next person in-line to be the manager. Proved themselves to be untrustworthy Took my car in for airbag recall. Service time was reasonable and the people were friendly and polite. Everything seemed to be going well until the en Took my car in for airbag recall. Service time was reasonable and the people were friendly and polite. Everything seemed to be going well until the end. At that point the service adviser came to tell me the car was almost ready but that they'd given me a complimentary inspection and there some things of concern he wanted to share with me. Most of them were ridiculously expensive items of maintenance such as replacing the air filter. However, the one that really concerned me was being told that my water pump was leaking and it was important to have it replaced. Now, I have an old car. It has 160,000 miles on it and is 15 years old, but it runs great and is far "younger" than other Toyotas I've owned. I told the adviser that I'd think about it and after I left I drove over to an independent shop that's earned my trust over the years. They looked at the water pump and told me that there was not only nothing wrong with it, there were absolutely no signs of any problems that would give someone the idea there might be a problem. I thanked them and drove the car home. This was an experience so typical of car dealers that I've experienced in my life. I went to Larry Miller Toyota because of the recall, but had had negative experience with their sales department in the past. While they sell the best made cars in the world (and I've had everything from Chevy's to Mercedes and have no doubt Toyota is the best), I'm very wary of whether their service is trustworthy. I'll give them 3 stars to be fair, but that's probably generous given what they did. More
