TERRIBLE SALES/CUSTOMER SERVICE - REPORTED TO HEADQUARTERS I saw an Audi on CarGurus that this dealership was selling at a great price. It had been a trade in. I inquired about it, applied or financing, was ap I saw an Audi on CarGurus that this dealership was selling at a great price. It had been a trade in. I inquired about it, applied or financing, was approved, etc. That same evening, I went in to test drive it and loved the car. I told the salesman, Richard Lamute, that I would go home, do my due diligence, and follow up with him. It didn't take me long to mull it over. That same night, I contacted Richard again. I let him know that I for sure wanted the car and would be in the next morning to purchase it. The morning of, I purchased an insurance policy for the car and got ready to go and get it. I called and confirmed that the car was still there. A few minutes later, Richard text me saying that the car was being sold. Now... I was upset, but it wasn't THAT big of a deal. I understand that with most things in life, it's first come, first serve. My issue however, was: THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Richard COULD HAVE CALLED ME and told me he was selling the car from under me. The dealership blew UP my phone and email the previous day after I had made inquiry. Now all of a sudden, they couldn't contact me? Besides that, he didn't apologize NOR did he even suggest another car. What type of salesman is that? If he had been forthcoming about selling it to someone else, I would have understood. I more than likely would have stayed in contact, so if another car I was interested in became available, I'd know where to go. By Richard not forewarning me, I got an insurance policy that was xxxx trying to cancel. I called the dealership numerous times because I needed a letter (at request of the insurance company) stating that I never took possession of the vehicle. One of those times that I called, a "manager" tried to argue with me that Richard urged me to purchase the car while I was there. Which was a lie. Richard was never pushy, I'll give him that. The "manager" was not present for any of the conversation between Richard and I. So I did not understand why he was trying to place "blame" on me. It took FOREVER for them to finally send me a letter. When I did receive it, it was not adequate enough. I asked the finance manager, David Stevenson, for the letter to be on letter head. He stated that I would need to get it from their legal department. When I asked for said "legal department's" contact, my email was ignored. I had to physically go up to the dealership to request the letter. Prior to arrival, I called to confirm that the General Manager, Roger Deally was present. When I got there, he had conveniently left. One of the service managers, William (Bill) McKelvey was extremely rude. When I asked him to further update the letter he refused. I stayed at the desk to contact Florida Department of Financial Services (who I opened up a dispute with against the insurance company) to confirm whether the letter that I had would suffice. I stated that I would not leave the dealership until I received their confirmation. Bill McKelvey proceeded to call the police on me, as if I was a criminal. I did nothing wrong. I honestly feel as though I was being discriminated against because I was am black woman and had no male presence. All in all, my biggest compliant with this dealership is their LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Had Richard not been shady and given me a call to let me know he was selling the car to someone else, I would have never gotten the insurance policy nor needed to cancel it. I shouldn't have had to reach out to HIM. They have no issue contacting you leading up to the sale. But once a sale is made, then they no longer care. I also left a voicemail for the General Manager, Roger Deally. He has never took my call NOR has he reached out to me for a follow up. I will NEVER do business with this dealership, for a Honda or otherwise. I don't care if they are GIVING away my dream car. I'll never step foot back in this dealership and I'm making sure that I tell everyone I know not to, either. This matter has also been reported to the Honda Headquarters. More

Service manager insists the part and labor is only covered for 12 months/12k miles. Unwilling to consider helping since it’s an issue with the initial repair (return line not replaced, bolts not replaced). Avoid this dealership and specifically their service department at all costs.
