When preparing to purchase my leased vehicle, I asked my mechanic which sales rep to approach. He recommended Ty Whiting. Ty called me to set up an appointment and I was taken aback when I found out that this gentleman was actually the new sales manager. Ty made the buying experience as straightforward as possible without an honest deal and no smoke-filled room haggling. He's also kept up with me and gone out of his way to help me out with changing over the registration of this great big-block X5 powerhouse in miscellaneous ways after I moved to another state. It was also very reassuring to be able to choose Bob Gale to work on my vehicle those three years, as I knew my family's safety would be in good hands. While most BMW drivers probably don't concern themselves with such details, Bob was always happy to show me his work and explain what he saw and what he did no matter how routine. If only there was a Classic BMW in Northern Virginia. The service is sorely missed, as the local shop here leaves much to be desired. More
I currently own 2 BMW's an x5 and a 5 series. I purchased both of my vehicles in New york as I used to reside there. When I arrived to Lake County I began to take my vehicle to Classic for service; I always both of my vehicles in New york as I used to reside there. When I arrived to Lake County I began to take my vehicle to Classic for service; I always had a positive experience (but not much was required as both vehicles I own are leased and BMW includes all the maintence). I then went in with my wife to look at a new x5 as our lease was up, Ms. Leta provided very little knowledge of her product line, and she stated she has been selling BMW's for years. She then provided us with "numbers" for the x5 and told us on her first shot at giving us numbers "I am all in" there is no more room in these numbers. It was wierd because the numbers were way off the mark and no one starts a negoiation by saying I am all in. She then checked with her manager who conferred there was no more room. We then leftand were very friendly through the whole xxxxxx and didn't recieve even 1 follow up pohne call. We then went to BMW of Cleveland which is actually in Solon and leased an x5 there, equipped the exact same and in the same color as the one we viewed at Classic. The best part was the money down at BMW of Cleveland was $1,000 less, and the lease payment is $145 dollars less! So much for no room in the proce Classic! I would take my vehicle to Classic's service department, and in fact their building is much nicer than the one in Solon. I just wouldn't purchase a vehicle there. I would tell others to look around even if its an inconvience. More
