The problem I was complaining was not fix. I just replace the spark plug 3 months ago and they replace it again, the mechanic should know by just inspecting the spark plug that is was new. The wait was incredibly long; I was there from 8:40 am to 4:15 pm for a recall. My car needed other services, but the prices were exorbitant. Unlike my previous visits, this time I experienced an issue. What should have been a routine maintenance service lasting about 1.5 to 2 hours ended up taking almost 5 hours. While I was waiting, I saw my issue. What should have been a routine maintenance service lasting about 1.5 to 2 hours ended up taking almost 5 hours. While I was waiting, I saw my car drive past me under its own power, but shortly afterward it was returned to the service bay being pushed by three employees. I was informed that, during the maintenance, an oil leak into the spark plug wells was discovered, which required a complete cleaning and additional inspection to make sure everything was working properly. I own a Veepeak OBD-II scanner, and after leaving the dealership I scanned the vehicle. It showed a stored code: P000B – Exhaust Camshaft Position 'B'. Since it is only a stored (history) code, I understand that the issue is not currently active, but I will continue to monitor it. Overall, the customer service was excellent and met the high standard I have come to expect from Kia. More
