It is obvious that he not loves the product he sells, but wants everyone to love it also. No high pressure salesmanship, instead he explains every detail in a manner that anyone can understand, answers any and all questions about Honda automobiles. He did not sell the product, for Honda could sell itself...it is that good, but he made the buying experience a pure pleasure. Thank you very much! More

I came to Checkered Flag first because they had the exact vehicle I wanted and secondly bc they were the dealership who initially sent me the letter asking to buy my 2007 Accord. From the moment my mom and I walked in the doors and first met with Eric, I was pleased. He was friendly, professional, knowledgable but not overbearing and pushy. I had done all my research and knew what I was willing to pay and what I could afford. I had also already walked out of 2 other Honda dealerships because of obnoxious salespeople trying to push a vehicle on me that I didn't want or couldn't afford. Eric and Eugene in finance both made this buying experience a very good one and I am more than happy and willing to recommend Checkered Flag to my family and friends. I was so pleased with the level of service and professionalism I received throughout the week and a half long decision making process. Eric did several things that stood out to me. First he offered to let me test drive the car and take it home for a couple nights without me having to ask. He also stopped me before I drove off the lot after purchasing to fill up my tank with gas, something I hadn't noticed and didn't realize was a "perk" I got for purchasing. It was late in the evening and he could have just let me drive off but he went above and beyond and took 5 extra minutes to assure my satisfaction. I will be returning to checkered Flag today with my brother to look at Civics for him. We want to give Checkered Flag our business. More

Vernon was a God-send for my wife and I. He was straight to the point, honest and compassionate. He was truly there for the customer and their needs. He didn't try to put us in a vehicle that was beyond our needs and out of our price range just so could make a dollar. He found us the most practical vehicle for what we were needing. The price and payments were excellent. I didn't have to bargain, I looked at the price and payment on the paper and told him I would take it. We were recently sued by Checkered Flag Honda for unpaid sales taxes that this dealership said that we were exempt from paying and did not include in the original purchase order. The general manager of this dealership, ROBERT CHEN, is, in my opinion, a very dishonest man who will do whatever it takes, including LYING, to get you to buy a car from his dealership. If you consider yourself to be someone who values honesty and integrity STAY AWAY from this dealership and its questionable business practices. HALL HONDA on Virginia Beach Ave has been a pleasure to work with since turning my back on Checkered Flag.
