Sales department wasted my time and money. I was in contact with John, the internet sales manager. I told him i was interested in test driving the RDX, MDX, and MDX hybrid AWD with A-spec package. I checked the website and it showed the vehicles were there. I'm near the end of my current lease and am very close to the mileage limit so driving the 60 miles round trip put me over. At 15 cents a mile it wasn't a real concern. The next day I got to the dealership for the test drive and found out the MDX Hybrid sold 2 days ago. I was passed off to a different sales rep who confirmed I was interested in the AWD RDX with A-spec package then went to get the cars for me to drive. The rep came back and informed me the cars haven't passed their safety inspection yet so they can't be driven. So now all 3 of the vehicles I asked to drive are not available, I'm spending money driving miles I didn't need to, and John who I was in contact with all morning never even bothered to check on the vehicles I asked about. Garbage customer service. Waste of time and money. Shop somewhere else. More
UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERS! SHADY DEALERS!! Very UNSATISFIED customers! We purchased a 2020 Acura MDX A-SPEC from Cerritos Acura dealership. We had test driven the car before and decided to pur Very UNSATISFIED customers! We purchased a 2020 Acura MDX A-SPEC from Cerritos Acura dealership. We had test driven the car before and decided to purchase one. Before doing this, I got a quote via email from Weir Canyon Acura, but they did not have a WHITE one, but they said they can get it in 2 or 3 days. Called Cerritos Acura and they told me they had only one in stock. We went to check it out and sales consultant Nathan Walker helped us. We went inside to negotiate price and Nathan told us you are going to like my price that I am going to offer you and we did like it because it was almost the same as the quote we got from other dealer, any higher and we would have walked out. We even gave Nathan our quote that we got from the other dealership. Next he brought another worksheet with payment plans at 4.75% and 4.96% for terms of 60 & 72 months. We picked 72 month payments, thinking of course the payments were based on the AGREED NEGOTIATED PRICE. We painfully waited for about 1-1/2 hour to see the finance person AK (fast talker and hard to understand). He brought out the big long contract and I saw the base price that did not match what we agreed on, he quickly said all the discounts were already taken into account. We looked at each other and said well they are the experts they know what they are doing, we signed and left. We were already sick and tired after spending about 4-1/2 hours at the dealership. Next day I reviewed the contract and told me wife ‘I think we were ripped off!!!’. More than $3000.00. Apparently, we did NOT get the price we agreed on instead, it looks like Acura Cerritos backed the monthly payment they showed us into the Cash price for the vehicle. They use shady tactics to lure you in and then change price after. I called Nathan the sales consultant and asked him about the price and he pretty much acted stupid, I found out who he was working with back and forth and I called him too, his name is MIKE OSBORN Sales Manager, he pretty much told me to go pound sand TOO BAD!! You signed the contract and there’s nothing I can do for you. We spoke with other general managers for help and basically they could not help us. I guess they can’t go against their team. How dishonest, deceitful and shady of these people, they pulled a fast one on us! We trusted them with all our heart. Do all Acura Dealerships knowingly cheat their customers???? We can not believe such a large Corporation can operate this way with a clear conscience. Shame on Cerritos Acura they cheated us! Having these cheaters working for a well known Dealership like Acura, ruin it for the rest of their coworkers because we are not coming back to Cerritos Acura Dealership ever! We are not going to give them our business for car services, accessories, etc. I do not like wasting my time writing these types of reviews but sometimes it’s necessary to do them so people know they shouldn’t do business with ACURA Cerritos. I strongly would NOT recommend this Dealership. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau even though I do not expect Cerritos Acura do anything to resolve the issue or keep their customers happy. Very UNSATISFIED customers!!! More
New 2019 TLX Rear Passenger Door Molding Repair The molding around the rear passenger door was falling off of my new Acura TLX when I took it in for repair. Instead of pushing it back on, I was told it could not be fixed and a new one would be ordered. I was to be called when the part arrived. I was never called. After 3 weeks, I called and, after being transferred around, was told the part had bee sitting at the dealer. I made an appointment for the repair. When I arrived at the appointment, I was told, initially, it would be two hours. Then, the "customer service" representative looked at the problem and said it just needed to be pushed back into place!!! Their records showed the part had been ordered but not who did the ordering! I wasted two weeks and two trips to the dealer for a 5 minute "repair" on a brand new car. More

Customer Service Gary was such a different salesman. He did not approach my family with the typical, “buy a car;I want my commission” vibe. He explained in full detail what he liked about certain cars and what he honestly did not like and that made us more comfortable to stay and discuss options. Finally, when the right papers were signed, the sun had gone down so we were worried about any scratches we couldn’t see. Gary assured us that we may call him if we see any the following morning. The next morning, we saw scratches on the passenger front, front hood, and the gas lid was not flush. By that following Saturday, Gary was there to introduce us to Gerry the service advisor and explained the situation. Gerry was able to provide a courtesy car and on Monday afternoon, he called with an update of when the car will be finished. Communication within this dealership seems to be a priority and is refreshing to be a part of. If anyone is thinking of purchasing a car, Gary would be the man to reach. More
