Located originally at 317 Lexington Ave. , the dealership moved to its present location in 1997. It is only fitting, since the present location on Broadway, was the original site of the beginning of the growth of the Cavender brand in South Texas.
Started by James M. Cavender, and his twin sons, Jimmy and Billy, the dealerships are now moving into the 3rd generation of Cavenders.

I had an unfortunate incident with my 2025 CT5 Blackwing. Hit a large rock that was in the middle of the road. It went down the right side of vehicle. Missed the center line, and the tires and wheels. Stil Hit a large rock that was in the middle of the road. It went down the right side of vehicle. Missed the center line, and the tires and wheels. Still it caused a lot of damage and required lots of major parts and labor. Ray Trejo has been my service advisor since 2018, when I had an 2016 ATS-V. He is outstanding and shepherded this repair with great skill, and interest. You will find none better. Puts you first and keeps the owner apprised of all issues as the repairs are underway. Car is home and no issues. Highly recommend! Also a shout out to Cavender’s skilled technicians who completed a complicated repair with excellent results. More
