While I was at first skeptical of the concept of buying a car this way the whole experience was positive. The one area that was a negative was the quality of the mechanical inspection on Carmax part. I took the car to my mechanic who found that there was an oil pan leak and the water pump was bad. It seems that those are two major problems that should have been fixed before the car was driven off the lot. They were under warranty and have been fixed at no cost to me however it was a hassle I could have done without. More

Pretty easy process - I had to pay to have the car shipped to the dealership in Beaverton - Once it arrived they checked it over and I went for a test drive. They helped me transfer my plates from my previous vehicle - Seemed like the price was fair and I do like the no haggle - I have to check with the manager arrangement.
