my experience with Capitol Chevy’s pre-owned department was not positive. I had been exchanging texts and emails with Jennifer Sosa regarding a pre-owned 2021 Trail Boss that I wanted to see. Just before t was not positive. I had been exchanging texts and emails with Jennifer Sosa regarding a pre-owned 2021 Trail Boss that I wanted to see. Just before the appointment I went to look at the link for the car again and it had been removed. I reached out to Jennifer if the car was still available and she confirmed multiple times that it was. I even asked for a link to prove it was available. Jennifer sent a link but looking back this was not a link to a for sale listing just a link to the truck and specs. So I rescheduled my appointment to meet with Jennifer. The first thing she tells me when I get to the dealership is the truck I came in to look at “just” sold. I don’t believe this is true and turns out the truck had sold much earlier in the day around 10am (I came in around 530pm). I went along with it because Jennifer said she had a similar truck she wanted to show me and left me in the office to go get the truck. She left me in the sales office alone for 30 minutes only to bring back Paul who was going to pull around this other truck. Paul says he’s going to get the car and leaves for about 15 minutes only to come back without the car and says hes now going to get it from the service department. I tell Paul to share the link to the truck while he goes to get it. The link was to a diesel truck which I am not interested in. Needless to say this was a complete waste of my time and I don’t appreciate sales people dancing around honesty. I would respect a dealership that said “unfortunately the vehicle sold but we have some similar trucks if you would like to take a look”. Not sure how I can trust this department enough to by a vehicle from at this point. More
